no problems with black whatever as long as its organic with the story and not something thats highlighted for virtue points. Mace Windu they did right. nobody cared about his skin color, he was just one of the Jedi who were all different, kinda sad he was a pointless and boring character overall because George wrote pointless and boring characters in the prequels.

meh, the action looks like Boba Fett choreography and the dialogue is about the same. the CGI looks top notch as usual. it would be worth watching for the set pieces, but nothing else.

It's the hold my beer aspect of it that gets to you. George was already woke since the 70's.
The whole "shit, we gotta outdo what the last generation did" hold my beer is what ruins the writing. They got beat to the woke and can't stomach it. The bar to get woke props just kept getting higher. Guys like Rian Johnson are quick to meet the new bar.

LoL, so many are so sour after getting kicked in the jims by Disney on Star Wars stuff lately, that even a beloved figure like Kenobi and a long awaited return like this is meh before it even drops.

Are you unaware of how much money Grogu has to be printing? there are no nails anywhere near this coffin. put Baby Yoda in it, print money. ez. Mando will be back in the fall and the money printers will be back on.
Plus I imagine most Clone Wars/Rebels fans are still waiting for the Asoka series, plus more Bad Batch.

Baby yoda is what attacts females to this genre. Its not strong hero women like they pretend it to be (Rey). Women dont relate to strong kick ass hero females. Thats a mans fantasy. So all they are doing is supplanting a female into a male role thinking that females will gush all over this bullshit but in fact they dont. But bring out a baby yoda and all of a sudden the females swoon.

Every woman I know that saw Star Wars absolutely loathed Rey. She is unrelatable and they think the Mary Sue thing is cringe.
Rey gets a bad reaction from women across the board. No charisma.

Like I said non relatable characters. Not only in this movie but you see this across vast movies and TV shows. Somehow a hero woman is supposed to be relatable to females. Again thats a male fantasy. Females fantasize about different shit altogether, see hallmark channel, lol.

I'm cool with it as long as she gets wrecked by Obi-Wan just like any of the inquisitors would, whether he has a lightsaber or not.
Obi-Wan is the only reason I'm watching this. I know I will be disappointed but he is the 4th most powerful force user in the known galaxy at this point (Palps, Vader, Yoda, Obi-Wan).

If you're willing to put in a bit of work there's quite a few EVA foam templates out there for helmets. Results may vary based on your skill and painting but you'll probably enjoy wearing it more than just a mail order chinese one.
