Don't know if true but the writers for all these shows are fucking idiots, I mean the writers of Halo made it a point to not know anything about the video games. I will says shows like the boys divert from the story and make big changes that I know like but at least the writers know the source material

3/7 - Vader angry that Obi-Wan escaped = felt like they both had flashbacks in the bacta tank.
Lol this episode was most notable for her peak bad acting, most notably the way she screwed up her fist whilst interrogating Leia. I will lose it if she figures out Leia is force sensitive.
The shot of Leia underneath the coat was totally unnecessary, it was obvious she was hiding there. Lol this whole episode was a load of slapstick farcial nonsense. Peak Empire incompetence as well
Anyway, just a totally bland episode.
Also, am I the only one that thinks the way Jedi deflect blaster shots in this is totally awkward, not just in this episode but the first one at the jedi temple. And lol at his lightsaber not slicing through people and barely denting the armour but still incapacitating them.
I've edited this post multiple times because more eyeroll moments keep coming back to me

If a fucking ten year old girl can resist your mind probe, how can you not instantly tell she's force sensitive?
I want to think the ugly choreography is supposed to represent that Obi-Wan still hasn't really regained his connection to the Force. On the other hand the sheer amount of lower case force he would have had to exert to keep the ocean from pouring in when that window broke would probably be enough to lift a goddamn star destroyer, but that's probably another Abramsy 'lets create a cool looking scene without actually thinking through what it means'.

It kinda ties with general imperial incompetence e.g. Rotj code to land on endor, although I guess Vader figured that out

Don't know if I need to pile on to the issues this show has but it seems like such a huge waste of resources. It's like all the pieces are here for something great but the person put in charge of moving the pieces around is an amateur. There are just far too many goofy looking scenes, cgi, character moments.
Like most of Disney Star Wars they've again put the wrong person in charge of this project.
Tala just incapacitating 2 heavily armored and armed troopers that have her under guard. You know, they really should be sacrificing this piece to give this show much needed agency. Instead she's comically overpowered, having outwit and out muscled the entire Empire.
The floating speeders looked ridiculous. The cgi had terrible perspective. You finally bring a speeder back and instead of some cool ocean scenes or fuck anything leading up to it you put them on screen looking like fucking toys.
Underneath somewhere here could be a decent story but the direction and competence needed to bring this to life has utterly failed.
