"sources" have said that they are making both a season 2 and a reva spin-off. nothing official, but that's what several different generally reliable sites are saying.
on one hand, i can't believe they would make a spin-off focused on reva, one of the characters who has gotten THE MOST criticism, both from a character standpoint and the actress playing her... but then i remember that this is disney and of course they would do something this stupid

I remember stuff saying Reva was supposed to die but then Disney did reshoots and wanted to keep her alive.
I haven't watched the last 2 episodes but from what I was watched Jar Jar would be a plus
I didn't think much until I saw memes pointing out how the show has no focus on alians and everyone is human

Like The Last Jedi was so good that Rian Johnson got a whole new trilogy to make, so you should go see The Last Jedi to see what all the hype is about!! In reality he's making whodunnits for Netflix which is a better fit for his style and his trilogy is "on hold" until he can commit.

Star Trek has a bunch of announced but not in production shows and movies as pitches to investors.
Marvel and DC Comics are constantly making gay reboots of every hero which are cancelled after a handful of issues then retroactively labelled "mini-series" and "we always intended to tell a superhero coming out story over exactly 7 issues".
It's SJW marketing 101, so don't worry too much. All these Star Wars shows were "on hold" and borderline cancelled until The Mandalorian, which was too far into production to cancel, was a success.

the thing is Disney needs the Mandolorian back. its the only thing thats a hit. no matter what Disney says. the toys dont lie. thats why Baby Yoda was in Boba Fett, they needed to remind you to keep buying those little fuckers. they were quick to say that Kenobi was the most watched premiere, thats because he is an OT character. i bet those numbers have taken a hit since then. i also bet its not going to lead to an increase in subscriptions after the miniseries ends. and i also fucking bet Reva aint getting her own TV show. if she's still alive by the end of this shit, they may bring her in for a cameo later on, toss her a frikkin bone somewhere because Disney/Star Wars is really bad when it comes to treatment of black leading actors on any of their projects. Carl Weathers may be the only actor they havent shit on and thats because he plays a very small role on Mando. he's not big enough to have his head shrunk on a poster for the China market.

Reva is a lame character - like others mentioned, she hams it up too much for her scenes. Since they have taken quite a bit from the Fallen Order game thus far, I wonder if this was Reva's original ending in the mini-series: Admit that falling to the dark side was a mistake, then Vader shows the consequences of failure

its really obvious she's not there on merit. she's not even good looking. and whats with that rubber costume she's wearing? its really shit looking. the dirt bike tire costumes in Demolition man looked way cooler.
