I really can't stand Mercy. She's a full time hold left button healer that erases multiple ults or otherwise great play by a simple push of the button. So much bad design in one character it hurts.

She's pretty easy to take out. If someone on your team doesn't focus on her it's not her fault. She's great when the other team ignores her.

Mercy is fine, zens ult does the same thing except the people can kill you while it's going on.

Obviously she can't rez if she's dead but that's not really a good answer. I've seen countless completely unpreventable Mercy rezzes through walls or graveyard rushing. There is absolutely nothing you can do about it.

I get how to play against Mercy. All I'm saying is its not exactly compelling gameplay for the Mercy player or the other team.

Ya I block people, was told it avoids matching with them. Every hanzo, genji and torb I see that doesnt deliver gets blocked. Although you have to block their party members cause I witnessed lastnight a blocked guy match with me but his party member wasnt on my block. /doh.
Uhh does it take time to kick into effect? I blocked a guy who was solo queueing and it placed it in another match with him right after i blocked him.

That doesn't work anymore iirc, at launch if you blocked players it wouldn't let you queue with them but some top tier widow was complaining that his queues were like 40 minutes cause everyone ingame was blocking him so they removed it and made it like a chat/voice only block lol

Well not a bad evening...went from 1600 or so to 1830, before losing a few games and finishing around 1785. Not a bad climb from 1400 I placed at so far. :)

I've been thinking about this for a bit. How would you rank each hero in terms of how well you need to be able to aim in order to be successful at that hero?

Quick list from "Need aiming skills to be successful" to "Aiming skills need not apply to be successful"

McCree
Genji
Widowmaker
Hanzo
Ana
Tracer
Soldier 76
Zenyatta
Roadhog
Zarya
Mei
Sombra
Pharah
Reaper
D.Va
Junkrat
Reinhardt
Torbjorn
Lucio
Bastion
Mercy
Symmetra
Winston

Hanzo and his industrial fridge box hit box should be at the bottom of the list
Old memes!

I'd say widow and maybe Hanzo higher on the list. If it is any sort of order. I'm not talking about high level play or anything.

Both of them are extremely useless without landing anything. Hanzo has more probability by spamming a narrow straight.

I play hanjo quite a bit, and compared to any other champ he is still relatively hard(mccree and 76 are my fall backs.) I didn't play widow cause I though pop tarting was going to get nerfed and removed but go to find out that it is working as intended(they're removing genji edge tech) and that was one of the mechanics that make her viable.

McCree just isn't forgiving not because of aim, but positioning.

Reaper and Pharah require better aim than most think. Genji aim isn't SUPER necessary. You really don't left click targets as much as you right click them if you're a harasser. It does feel good to left click a widow to death from across the map though.

I like when teams need a healer and some random picks Ana. That is not the 'this is my first time healing, LOL' character. That's what Lucio is for.

Such a streaky game. This weekend has been complete aids for me and the further I drop the worse my comps are.

Started at 2460 and the matches were fun and tight. Somehow slid to 2240 and it's back to Bastion-ville and Genjiland. Every. Fucking. Match.
