Or ban ark and make a nutrition thread. We did have a good discussion going at first after the expected initial derping. Sugar, fiber, HFCS, keto diets. Including people not inclined towards this particular approach or at least skeptical like Chaos, Brutal and Tuco. Even aychamo and Ark made some fair points among the buckets of scat they were shoveling in. Then Aychamo went full retard, posted his Rolex bona fides and studies. I helped him shit it up by arguing because I was not aware of his background believe it or not, and it was at best sporadically informative since.

I am in favor of a nutrition thread. As I said this was merely a resource for those interested. It's a new board, I had the write up so I posted it. I've been doing this all of about 3 weeks now, it's not proselytizing. It's for discussion. Yes I think it's a good framework, if someone disagrees I'd not only like to hear why but what they do and what results they have had.

You took 4 hours to write the original post and shill a diet you have 3 weeks experience with? Jesus christ you are one gullible mother fucker. I figured you've been buying into this for a year or more at least.

I can't believe you aren't selling something.

Rofl. I love this delusional fucking world you live in where you act like I'm trolling. You're a clueless baboon who posted a study that he couldn't interpret. You misquoted studies, and then used them to try to "disprove" a point that the study itself recognized as understood. On top of that, you never seemed to actually read the study that you were trying to (mis)quote. You're a dumb tubby meathead who is spreading poor diet information and partaking in a ridiculous "bro" workout regimen.

It's just so pathetic how you quote a study but don't understand the first thing about them. I wish I were a writer because I'd love to better articulate this point, but it's truly just like a baby trying to do physics or something equally absurd.

Honestly, I know you're butthurt about your stupid diet and basically the entire forum laughing at you, but to sit there and say that I am tolling is completely dishonest, you pathetic witless imbecile.

Change a few words and this could easily pass for a Lumie post.

The entire forum is not laughing at Dashel, only the trolls like you (aa) who think they have accomplished something by ridiculing others. This thread has been very informative, and while you and the other may have shown or proven that diets are very subjective in terms of efficiency and efficacy, for the rest of us it has been a nice read, and an informative one.
There is no need for this thread to be rickshawed.

Down to 192 this morning, a high of 202 so 10 pounds. So far so good, I'm not even trying to lose just eating within the parameters. Energy is very consistent, no slumps. I never feel like I'm starving which I absolutely used to previously. By far the biggest pain in the ass with this is you have to prep everything and everything takes more time. Oatmeal was a really easy breakfast, now I need to cook eggs and clean the pan. Cut up veggies, cook almost every meal, go grocery shopping all the time or remember to take meat/chicken out of the freezer. Best thing to do is make a lot and have leftovers.

Probably another 10 pounds to go until I'm where I want to be, so the next 10 we will see how it goes. I'll probably have to count calories at some point to get to under 10% bf but I'm waiting til I stall.

Actually a lot of what he says makes sense. Weve been eating a paleo diet for the last 10K years and only recently have been subjected to over processed foods. And just recently we are more obese than ever, heart attack rates and other problems like diabetes are doubled.. Granted that our sedentary lifestyles have a lot to do with it as well, but it makes sense.

You can call this a fad but its a fad that humans have been doing for 10K+ years until very recently.

Its hard to believe any "science" behind any nutrition shit because it varies so greatly from decade to decade. Back in the 70s gave us the great false food pyramid, 80s how eggs, butter and saturated natural fats were all frowned upon, but they got replaced with more chemically extracted/processed shit like vegetable oils which turns out are worse for you than butter ever was.

Not saying that this is the way to go, nor do I have some fact sheet by some accredited source to back this shit up, but it just makes sense. All this is really telling you is to eat natural and stay away from processed shit that is all around us.

lol @ "we've been eating paleo for 10k years." That's the biggest and most stupid of all the paleo memes.

So this diet promotes whole milk over say 2% or 1%? If that's the case, COUNT ME IN.

God DAMN whole milk is so fucking good! I drink like 3 glasses a day, and I feel my veins tightening as the saturated fats continue to clog me up. BUT ITS SO WORTH IT!!!!!1

The argument is that we didnt eat grains up until 10k years ago. The hundreds of thousands of years prior we didnt, and many grains aren't especially good for us. Some grains like rice arent harmful, but some like wheat can be really bad for certain people and are not ideal in general. We didnt start using things like vegetable oils until the past couple of decades and they arent good for us either.

No milk on Paleo. I still drink a glass a day but according to this plan milk causes inflammation in the gut, spikes insulin and some other crap. idontcare.jpg

Primal Blueprint says:

And if you do drink milk, I would suggest milk with higher fat content like whole milk rather than skim or 2%. The bottom line is dairy, for those that can tolerate it, can be enjoyed in moderation on the Primal Blueprint diet.
