Khane gets it. A game requires work and no one is too ego driven to forget that or not understand that. Brad was in this for whatever he could get. Sure, he had no idea his name wouldn't generate more money. Sure, if he had gotten millions, he would have made something shitty and paid his gang a bit more. His #1 goal was not game development though. His actions said it all.
A guy looking to make a game...ensures that work is being done. He puts effort out into the process. He checks in, helps members out, gives advice, etc. A guy who is looking for a quick payday? He is into 'funds acquisition'. He puts limited time into the 'project'. He isn't involved because the end goal isn't to make a game. If Brad wanted to make a game? He would have went about this differently. This was all about a paycheck.
People act like Brad had a lot of options in the industry now. Where at? Who really wanted him the last 9 months? He is what he is. A failure who wanted one last payday before he had to find a real job. We can keep trying to find crutches for the guy but why bother? He already has a couple thousand excuses waiting for some use.
