I never claimed he was awesome, I'm just stating the facts about him being wealthy and famous. You tried to claim otherwise, and you got hit with stats and factual information.

Again, I never said I give a shit about this guy. A quick Google search brought up all the info I needed.

But nice job resorting to uninformed personal attacks when called out on your uninformed bullshit! ;)

I'm disappointed.
"A special guest joins our next stream", was hoping for a semi-known game developer/designer or someone who did something meaningful in the gaming industry. Turns out just some random streamer, I mean if he was a YouTuber it might go down better at least YouTubers create content and some of them review/criticize games and spend some effort creating their videos.

He's not just some random streamer, he has one of the biggest followings on Twitch and quite a substantial subscriber count on YouTube. Yeah, if you're not a fan of him (I'm not either) it's pretty random and not as interesting as someone else would be. But for spreading the word about the game, he is a "go to" industry favorite. Smart move by Visionary Realms.

I have listened to some of his other sponsored content before (Camelot Unchained, Hero's Song) and he actually does a pretty good job. Even showing off the disaster that was Camelot Unchained.

Please go away troll. I'm merely explaining the situation. I'm quite skeptical of Pantheon/Visionary Realms/Brad myself, but blindly attacking every move they make even if it's a good one is downright idiotic.

I hope Pantheon does well, and am quite interested to see the state of the game at the time of this stream. Personally, I don't think there will be sweeping improvements. The last stream looked pretty pre-alpha still. My guess is this stream is just another attempt at securing additional funding.

I'm sure that these people donating hundreds, thousands, or even tens of thousands of dollars to streamers are all poor people living in studio apartments. /s

You know, some people have lives, whether it be involving jobs, careers, education, relationships, etc. Watching streams is a good way for them to enjoy their passion of gaming while not having to commit the time. They don't all have time to level an Enchanter to 60 on EverQuest in 2016 and make 10000 posts on an elf simulator forum like you.

It's funny that you're trying to argue that people that watch streams are only neckbeards. I'd argue that the neckbeards are actually gaming, like yourself.

I don't really understand how it's any different than watching random people play professional sports. By the same logic, why watch them on tv instead of just going outside and playing?
