Here's my first draft at renaming the class and rewriting the lore. Think Brad will give me a writing job?

Marked by the darkness that once enveloped all of creation, the Myraxian Crusader is a formidable champion of evil whose skill in battle and otherworldly might plants the seeds of doubt and fear in the heart of even the most steadfast warrior. With the martial training of their order supplemented by the dark arts inscribed within the forbidden Tome of Myraxys, these knights have bartered away their souls to gain the powers of the void, which they use without restraint in their twisted plots to once again drown Terminus in darkness.

I mean it's not great, but I feel like it's better than the source. I could probably do better if I just rewrote it from scratch instead of trying to ape the original.

Well made my two posts on the KS thread , didn't take long for the true believers that Brad can do no wrong to jump. Just going to watch now.

They can't seem to grasp that total number and total number of backers to the right is what matters , not their faith.

Works for me.... As I said earlier and others have now said... the name is just rooted too deeply into our pop culture. They're the pros but man, they may need to bounce everything off a text crowd before posting. I think this took them a couple of steps back. I'll probably reduce my pledge honestly.

It's lore for an evil because evil character so of course it's gonna be shit. I know the thread is filled with fanbois but I am shocked no one cares that you will again be grouping with one dimensional evil characters who for some reason will prolly be trying to save the world and yet shit like dark nights is what we call immersion breaking.

Some of the KS posters seem to forget the fucking fact they are posting on an unfunded project with the clock ticking , not closed beta forums for a game that's in production.

"LEAVE THEM ALONE, THEY CAN CHANGE EVERYTHING LATER, IT'S EARLY" seems to be the mantra now on there.
