Lol @ you guys. I don't see anything wrong with a class called Dark Knight. Is everyone going to be pissed off when they announce warrior and wizard too? The name is fine it's the fact that they are putting stupid shit like this as a daily update that is the problem. Announce the god damn classes and put as much info as you have out there. Get people excited so we can go tell our friends something. Stop this slow dick trickle of information and open the gates!
These guys are clearly good game designers. They make the kind of games that I like to play. They have no fucking clue about PR and presentation though. I thought they had a PR manager but clearly this is not the case. An amateur web guy could get on there and make things 100% better and I'm sure they could find one for free here or on Project Pantheon.
You've got a couple weeks VR. Stop the BS slow releasing and get out there and do some in depth interviews. Release every thing you've got and let the fans take it from there!

The Dark Knight is iconic in American culture. It has an identity already in the comic world. A far cry from standard fantasy settings. It seems like at worst a blatant ripoff the child of one of the developers decided would be cool and at best a completely last minute rush decision.

The name is not fine, but I think most people agree with you that the real problem is that they are putting stupid shit like this as a daily update. Completely meaningless descriptions with classes we expect to be in the game and already know how they work does not make compelling content for people who already know what an EverQuest and an MMORPG is. If the Dark Knight had been one entry in an update that revealed ALL of their core classes with actual details on how they intend the gameplay mechanics to work, it wouldn't have been as bad. But this being the daily update? It's a bit sad.

Someone suggested Void Knight on the KS forum. That's another good one and even fits with their lore.
