Yea that's odd. I'm sure it was around $201k an hour ago, then someone pledges $10k and its now at $200k? So in reality, they have lost $10k in pledges at some point.

meh the money doesnt matter at this point, its the number of pledges which is sitting at about 20 today. Thats not good.

There were two of them (Terrezas's) if I remember correct. Been a long ass time. One went by the name of Ozzmar on the Quellious server and was a GM (Again, long time ago. If this isn't the same one then it's been so long I forgot, but the name rings a bell) I guided there for a time and we had the most fun ever. Especially when he made me a 50 foot cockatrice and I went rampaging through The Overthere. He named me "Big Bird"
Well with the PR guy admitting they have released all the info they have, and the class list is short of a Necro, Mage and Warrior, things definately are not looking up.
Yeah true, I think they may have dreamed too big and need a lower goal to start off.
The way it works is how it has to stay though. If someone feels a kick starter is garbage they need to be able to pull their support. If you were committed to the pledge no one would drop big money on these. It does open it up to trolling though.
The people doing the 10k trolling need to do it better. Build up hope...and then destroy it!
Yea that makes no sense. No bard or ranger either. Why would you even bother creating an ol' school game without the basic classes?
They're alteast strectch goals though, so that means they have plans to squeeze them in at some point. But the Necro, Mage and Warrior aren't even on the table...

The class list is the best concrete thing about this kickstarter. They trimmed all the fat, and stuck with the classes that are really important. The functions of the others (war, Mage, nec, dru, bard, monk, ranger) can be rolled into the 7 they have planned quite easily. Will make for streamlined development, easy balancing, and strong class identities.
I'm very happy with the class list. Assuming all the class roles/abilities are at least similar to EQ, of course.
The game needs TWO knight classes though! It is just another area that didn't get much thought.
Maybe its like some guy legitimately sitting at the computer all sweating and nervous and unsure if they should get it. He clicked to pledge the 10k then started freaking out and had to cancel it, then the cycle starts all over again for the next 30 days.
