if i searched i bet half of the naysayers on this thread have stated they are sick of wow clone parade, if not all.
Over on the forums this crack head honestly believes they are going to shit out an entire MMO and it will be ready for Alpha by 2015.....uhhhhhh seriously?on this site it says alpha is in 2015, but probably early 2015. I am going to try to get tester access.... for $250 here they sold it. That is PRE-ALPHA

When was the last big-budget WoW clone? SWTOR? Rift before that? Nobody has released a legitimate big budget WoW clone in a long ass time, and discussion about that particular fading trend has been irrelevant for a couple years now. The Titan cancellation was the last bullet in that horse's head.

I imagine they would want to continue to get a % of profits from the many legit Kickstarters than face a backlash from people feeling ripped off or deceived by this. It undermines their entire system and philosophy, so it's really in their best interest to try and keep things above board.
Wait, what? Who would feel ripped off? No one forced them to pledge and if you did pledge, isn't that because you wanted it to get funded? So if the $400k showed up tomorrow who would feel ripped off? They can always pull the pledge.

This makes no sense. No one is forcing anyone to donate money to the project. I think its a damn money grab regardless, but if anyone feels that way they can pull the pledge any time they want, which is what I did. But who in the fuck pledges to see the project succeed, then when it does complains about being ripped off? WTF??

Pantheon sounds better on napkin than just about any game in production;-). I hope these guys pull this off. I don't think they will be rigging the KS tho. I know they are talking to 2 angel investors and working on a buissness plan. I don't know who is helping Brad, but I know he is getting help putting it together.
