Yes, but he also goes into battle mode where he's pushing the bottle out of his mouth and then getting mad because the bottle isn't in his mouth any longer.

Not mmos but my 2yo will sit and bang on the extra controller for a bit when I play games sometimes.
I'll really introduce him when he is older and try to teach him balance. I'm thinking I'll start him on NES and let him move up from there.

Anytime you guys think you are bad parents, I present my cousin and her situation as a counter-example.

Her mother has 6 kids by 5 different men, the 2 by the same father weren't consecutive. She's a meth head and has had 5 of the 6 taken away by Child Protective Services, the one that is with her is an infant and just hasn't been taken away yet.

My cousin is #3 from that mother I think, one of my older cousins is the father. He's a high school dropout, got his GED and now makes like $30k/year doing tech support somewhere. He took custody of her when she was like 10 (she's now 17) because the mom went to prison for meth.

But, he gives no shits about her, basically makes her clean the apartment, has health insurance but not on her (too expensive!) drives a new truck (wtf) but she doesn't even have a drivers license (drivers ed is too expensive) family has to buy her eyeglasses so she could see to go to school, glasses are too expensive. Etc.

Fast forward to when she's 16, meets a boy, boy seems nice but turns out to be the local pot dealer, takes her to raves, gets her hooked on pills, when her father tells her she's not going to see him anymore she hits him and threatens to call the cops and say he molested her (CUE MIST) so he basically kicks her out of the house period and says never come back. She's now bouncing between the boyfriends house (who doesn't really take care of her), her friends houses and family's houses, burning every bridge as she goes. She's stabbed herself at school to get put in the hospital, she's OD'd on pills, and she got a gigantic dark black tattoo up her side of this guys name. Lol. Now she's in state-funded rehab because my cousin and her mother won't come get her and so CPS took temporary custody.

You guys could do worse.

So a week ago my son started really moving.
It started with being able to spin on his belly and turn around.
Next he started doing planks. Full extension of his arms, up on his toes.
Then he started worming forward by dragging himself forward.

Now he's crawling.

I think I'm in trouble. This kid is way too strong.

So we transitioned my 2yo to a toddler bed over the long weekend. A friend gave us a racecar bed and he is super into Pixar cars so we put the lightning sheet set on it. Was surprisingly easy, maybe because he was so well sleep trained. Went pretty much right to sleep. Fell out of the bed once the first night, I put him back in and he went right back to sleep... Smooth sailing since. Naps were where I was more worried because he sometimes refuses to take them and in the crib he would get tired eventually and just lay down. With the bed he gets out and tries the door or plays with his toys some, but we have an ip cam for a baby monitor and if we use the microphone to tell him to lay back down he will and goes to sleep pretty quick after that. I hope our disembodied voices don't give him a complex later in life, though always thinking mom and dad can see him might help keep him out of trouble sometimes.
