My kid found a whole series of videos on youtube that is nothing but a guy unwrapping cheap toys, like little plastic easter eggs that have candy in them, matchbox cars in blister packs, etc. The kid fucking loves it, and it's the dumbest thing ever.
YEAH that shit pops up all the time. Kender Suprise eggs. its nuts.

My little one likes the toy review videos. It's just a video of some kid running around playing with toys.

Yeah my daughter found these somehow. I got so annoyed I just uninstalled YouTube on the iPad. Back to PBS Kids it is!

This is what keeps my kid riveted. Generally doesn't pay much attention to the TV until we play this. Soon as he hears the Ba-ba-ba-ba at the beginning he stops what he's doing to listen and watch. He eventually goes back to playing but you can tell he's listening to the music. It's pretty damn cute.

Bob the Train done by Kids TV I think. Little baby bum is another huge one. The unwrap and toy review videos. My son loves all of that. Octonauts is huge for him. Loves cars and also found those monster truck videos! Lol. Around Halloween he found scary car videos. Same premise as monster trucks just with zombie cars or vampire cars. Now he still wants it months later and calls it Boo Cars!

Glad I'm not the only one that has a kid into some of this stuff. Lol

My 17 month old loves The Wiggles. It's almost making me want to kill myself but when she points to the TV and starts busting out dance moves in an effort to get me to turn on The Wiggles for her I no longer need to suicide because she kills me with her cuteness.

She really does love to dance so I guess at least she is somewhat interactive with that program and hopefully I'm not just turning her into a vidiot.

My kid likes to watch Thomas the train. Sir topham hatt is always telling them they cause confusion and delay. I caught myself almost using that phrase at work. I had to go home and watch some walking dead reruns.

My 2yr old daughter purposely finds those Kender egg videos on youtube herself and watches them. The Ultimate Spiderman cartoon, Spongebob, and Finding Nemo are her staples which is hilarious sometimes and annoying others lol. She digs Ninja Turtles, but not really as a show to watch, I'm happiest that she can say all their full names extremely well, though she always wants to play with a couple of swag figurines I have on my desk. My one Donatello has been through hell and back. Otherwise she's most interested in anything with animals, Wild Kratts, Zaboomafoo, lots of the animals as people Disney stuff etc.

Yep, every toddler LOVES those videos. They have something for everyone. Super Heroes, Sesame Street, Mickey Mouse, Thomas the Train, Ninja Turtles, Angry Birds, Disness Princesses, etc.

And then I think about the fact that there's only a couple of Pearl Jam videos on Youtube that even have 1/10th the amount of views of that, and I feel really, really old.

I loved watching David Attenborough when I was about 5+. Assuming my missus ever gets pregnant my kid will be watching this and Adventure Time.

The helicopter video linked above was just fucking awful, do kids really watch that shit?

edit: and yes, I know I'm dreaming, they will want to watch some horrible crap like my nieces and nephews do

We had another baby over yesterday, I think she was 14 months - so a bit more advanced. She's walking, can say some words, but man she was tiny. My dude at 9 months is bigger than her and outweighs her by 3 pounds. Plus she was a pain in the ass, just crying the whole time. Would point at items so I'd say "this one?" and she'd go "NOOOO!

" and start wailing. I guess this is what I have to look forward to.

Hilariously enough, whenever she'd start having a melt down, my son would do a high pitch 5 second scream at her and just make it worse. Couldn't help but laugh.

My 3 year old does a high pitched shriek when he goes into the corner to get attention sometimes. It's hilarious when the almost 2 year old mocks the everloving shit out of it.
