We used cloth with our daughter from about 3 months until a little after 2 years old. She was on a pooping schedule like a champ, so we would put her in disposables from 2PM - 4PM, and we would catch 90% of all poops without incident.

I've always been leery of kids when they get older, because from the outside looking in it looks like a huge amount of frustration. When they're little though, I think I could handle it.

I saw the first video the other day - totally cried (damn you hormones now ALL.THE.TIME.)

Totally cried over this too -San Francisco to Transform Into Gotham for Boys Batman Make-a-Wish - ABC Newstoday. Totally would volunteer if I was in SF.

My kid melts my heart its totally nuts. You see a smile with those cheeks and you just want to squeeze him. My husband and I set a plan to start trying for number 2 next summer...between you me and a hole in the wall if his raise comes through in the next few months we won't make it that long. My husband was all about the plan but now he is like yeah I can't wait to have more. We're going to wait again to find out the sex and I'm completely thrilled with either but like I am just a teeeeeensy bit hoping its another boy. My son is the best thing I've ever done and I want him to have a friend.

If you ever want a daughter just come take one of mine. Goddamn hellions. We recently had another pregnancy scare, this with my wife's tubes tied. We are just the most fertile people on Earth I think.

Any one want a set of 12 year old twin girls? Mine are developing somewhat of an attitude. It's like they're nearly teenagers.

Are they as bad as celebrity kids?

DCFS sources say the letter details horrifying conduct. Denise says Bob and Max often go into a "zombie-like state" -- they repeatedly kick her dogs in the head and squeeze their heads with both hands while watching the dogs whimper in pain. She also says the kids will flip from sweetly petting the dog to strangling the animals and lifting them off the ground by the neck.

Kid has been sleeping all night for about 3 weeks now and then all of a sudden he started being really irritable and bitchy this week. Felt his gums today and can finally feel a tooth coming in. Damnit, I was hoping he would be a late bloomer on the teeth and we would at least get a couple months of peace and quiet. Not so much.

Oh well, that was a glorious 3 weeks. I will remember it fondly.

yeah both of my older two are doing that shit right now. It is rough. The books say you are supposed to adjust them in like 15 minute intervals over the course of several days. Still doesn't work.

Well, the paperwork is on its way.

I'm finally a Dad, won't be official for about 6 months due to the waiting period Texas requires, but I'm a damn Dad. Adopting a great 12 year old boy. I would post pictures, but as he's currently a ward of the state I'm not allowed. I couldn't be happier; Is this what you guys feel when a child is born?

Fuck yes, sirs. The feels.

While I can't attest to if adopting feels the same as when a child is born, I can say either way you're now a first time father and I'm sure that feels the same regardless of how it happens.

A big congrats to you Big W, that's fucking awesome.

Thanks everyone for the congrats; Its fucking awesome. On such a life-high right now.

The waiting isn't too bad, as he is with us; Its just 6 months until the judge signs the papers and makes it official.

Speaking of pictures though; I can post this since it doesn't show his face (which means not identifying, which makes it "legal" for me to do. Its a halloween pic of my fat ass and him.

mine got up an hour earlier until today which was 2 hrs earlier. He put himself back down until the right time (he wasn't crying, just awake).

last fri must have been an anomaly .... He is back to sleeping thru the night again. Guess we are still waiting on 4 month sleep regression to come because I don't think it just lasts a day.

4 month appointment today....more shots

4 months already? I thought my kid was older than yours (July 10). Her appointment isn't until next Thursday. Nurse said something about Hep shots needing to be spaced out 30/60 days and not having her 4 month appointment until it was 61 days after her 2 month.
