Man, gotta say, there is a reason Infernalist is a close second in popularity - did Act 1 with witch early, stupid death, easily one shotting all the bosses including the stupid poet werewolf. That fight is easy when you only have one poet phase and burn him down right after, instead of the three phases I had with the sorceress.

And of course, I am still just a lowly witch. Fire damage minions for the win.

And for the record, I despise minion builds in PoE1, and only having the stamina to get one 1 to endgame.

Neversink is good but idk why it still shows trash whites. Kind of annoying.

Edit the filter, scroll all the way to the end, uncomment the optional stuff and whites/blues will go away. If you actually want to see certain base types, just delete those ones from the hide list.

Don't worry about missing items with sockets or quality, they will always show so that you can pick them up for salvage.

lost city , find the checkpoint, kill the big beetle, 9th treasure of kith, detonate dead its corpse, then pick "respawn at checkpoint"
that will restart you like 10' away from it. other rares can spawn the room to the lower right and the back top left. appears the anti-farm rules only apply to bosses as it continues to have the full range of drops.

the map was L54 for me, at L57 it was giving between 4-6% of a level per run, depends on what all spawns. i think in a dozen or so kills got 3 lesser jeweller's orb which is about how many i have gotten up to that point in total also got a L3 support gem.
this guy is higher level and his map is L56, he got a greater jeweller's orb and is getting L13 skill gems.

Anyways, I managed to beat Sanctum Floor 4 and the boss. Had 7500 Honour and 80% Resist. Took maybe 300 dmg up to floor 4 and on floor 4 I finished with 715 Honour left...

The boss was no joke either, mainly mechanics fight with the added stress of losing Honour.

So beat the campaign and did my first map. Bunch of junk drops, felt exactly like campaign. As far as an immediate intro into the end-game, it was kind of anti-climatic. I had to redo my passive tree a bit and it turns out that that the passives I had invested in didn't actually do as much. I don't think they all need to be homogenized, but why is there such a disparity in balance JUST within the passives? If you don't have any skills/uniques/notables that put weight on the scales, it should all be basically decisions on directions, not power. Certain things are just worse, and the node balance is such that it's pointless to try. Why do cold traits all only quadruple down on freeze, where lightning ones do damage/shock? Why does poison even exist in the tree? Why are so many passives saddled with random punishing trade-offs, when they aren't notables?

Anyway, I really enjoyed my time with the campaign, but with the balance issues forcing me into playstyles I don't really like as much and the lack of a lot of content in weapons/classes, I think I am done for the moment. This has by far the most satisfying combat in any ARPG, it really is I think worthy of being called 'next gen' in some respects. I realize it's still EA, but I'm afraid it will end up like PoE where you just have better passive clusters/regions, regardless of how you build. That part sucks.

Arsonists and SRS are still quite good even after the nerfs. Finally upped my game a little by putting some gems in my skills. Was able to clear act 3 super fast. Already off to a good start in act 4.

Minion cucks are the same people who played rogues and wizards in EQ. Disgusting, lazy filth..

I know Armor is to block Physical damage only, but what is Evasion's weakness? Is there a damage type it won't evade?

Monk, BST, MAG, NEC. Ended up mostly BST/MAG for bst harmony.

You cannot evade spells by default. You need to take the acrobatics Keystone for that

it works until it doesn't and you die to 1 hit. So it can't be your only line of defense. you need some damage reduction, or a massive hp/ES pool as well.
