FYI if you didn't know you lose max resists as you progress, but it's tied to level instead of campaign progress directly:

A lot of us were confused how we'd hit 75 and be down some resists. The -80 is really -60 from PoE1 because of the passive resists you get from the campaign side quests (+10 fire x2, lightning x2, cold x2).

Yea I noticed it kept going down. Im lvl 80 now so should be stable now.

Goatface Goatface You might be able to use your warriors to kamikaze with support skills for grim feast. I switched to eldritch battery and the one that takes mana damage first. Im quite tanky with a Shield now.

Its maces and mace skills that are the problem. Quarterstaffs and their skills smack the shit out of everything in the game.

I cannot grenade down Mektul, need to learn how to do this better. I think the problem is keeping Ignite up? Maybe my oil bomb or something slotted support wrong.

They are truly all dogshit. +1.5 seconds flat attack time on Sunder to do....the same damage as every other skill that doesn't end up with a 2.5 second animation? Earthquake has a fucking *4* second second impact delay. The total animation time for rolling slam is 3 seconds + your attack speed. It's just lunacy how they think any of that shit is enjoyable to play.

I'm honestly surprised they havent came up with more optional fights that dont revolve around Stunning the mob. I guess theyre trying to keep the fights mechanically simple in the campaign.

Doesnt exist as far as Im concerned. Ive never seen it, and "Cumbrous" doesnt even exist. I also think it would be labeled as just "+1 Maximum Number of Totems" or something similar to that. The Ballista' are categorized under Totems, period.

I would be completely fine with that "Coming Soon" though. Not for the artillerist skill or w/e. But Cumbrous being a new tier of weapons to have in the next season. Hopefully having more than just that one tier added. Just felt like in the earlier levels, I feel like the damage of weapons just Yo-Yo's up and down, drastically.

Spoiler alert: I looked at my gems and decided to try Perfect Strike and then slapped on two lightning resist rings I had in my stash. I fucking walloped him. Perfect Strike is broken fucking damage and you can get three or four off when they are heavy stunned.

I'm not quite to that boss yet but my warrior got waaaay better when I went through, properly used my weapon set skill points, and assigned skills to the different sets so I can alternate between 2h and shield on the fly. I think there are still a lot of problems where the answer is we're doing it wrong.

BTW this use case is exactly why I think they went to the new gem system rather than POE1's. You'd have been boned for a while if you'd had to level up that gem with experience just to make it past the boss.

so the chaos trial is beating my ass. i'm a blood mage and desperately yearn for 2 more ascension points to test the lifetap (because the life loss part suuuuuuucks). i just learned that you can do the sekemah trial with i guess a level 45+ token, to do that trial and it can give ascension. is there a way to farm those? everyone is selling them for 1 exault on the AH

Of all the act bosses, Doryani for me, was by far the easiest. I didn't even know it was the act boss until it told me to go to Cruel Difficulty and then I googled it to make sure.

Gonna put a few more hours into this over the weekend.. anyone have any good loot filters for this shit? It seems like every assclown pig fuck has there own version of shit they are trying to get you to watch their worthless stupid youtube video..

Just something simple for beginners into the POE aids.
