My Infernalist witch is like 70 and I just got to tier 2 maps. Still destroy everything easily, but occasionally get 1-shotted. I need to get better resists to go on much further.

I started an Ice Strike Monk, painful till level 14 then it's a joke. I think its actually easier and faster than my Infernalist witch at the same level. Great mobility, smooth gameplay and just freeze everything, bosses barely get a chance to attack and die super fast, faster than anything my with ever did. But damn were the first 14 levels a pain in the ass.

Just click the "Direct Whisper" button and it does it for you in game automatically.

I don't think this is accurate. Can you provide a source where they wanted to implement instant buyout for non-currencies?

Currently using infernalist summon with only arcanist minions. It is immensely more powerful than my sorc was at the same level (act 3 level 40ish). Didn't struggle on any boss so far. Breezed through act 2 which was much harder and slower on my sorc. Got both ascendancies on first try. On sorc I had to come back to the first one once I was 7 levels above the level req since I failed like 10 times when I first tried.

It doesn't in PoE 1, but PoE has a lot of vendor recipes that you sell 3 of one type and get another/upgrade and such stuff. Without vendor recipes it would be more difficult I would assume.

you can use the combo smithy thing to grind up 3 of a thing to make another thing but....i don't know if you can make like wacky uniques in any way right now.

Thx for the help guys also just recently put a bunch of shit in the guild bank lots of str items and bows I think a really nice 2h axe but what do I know, as well as some cool in theory witch uniques and some starter monk uniques.

its the smaller of 2 turd sandwiches. or i guess 3.

the massive turd sandwich is farming yourself for an item people essentially throw away, but would increase your damage output 5-500 percent. by farming i mean you just do maps for hours and hope one drops with gooder numbers in the right arrray.

the big turd sandwich is screaming in acution and looking at individual links till you find what you want.

the bite sized turd sandwich is plugging "fire damage" then "spell damage" on "weapon" and then spending the smallest currency to get a near perfect item that enhances your shit substantially.

its yet to be seen if an integrated AH will lead to some sort of bottery that causes prices to inflate wildly vs what we have right now.

yea i'm inclined to think so too. i think the world will be fine with it. i think it'll just bring down the price of everyman items (which i tend to use) but exponentially send up the price of things like mage blood (which i do not use). so it'd work out great for me!

Just to highlight how dumb I am.

After unlocking the second Ascendancy I gave it a shot a couple of times at level 40 and couldn't make much headway. So, decided I'd get a few levels and come back later. Mostly because I kept seeing that X/10 in the debuff selection window and thinking to myself that there was no way in hell I could make it through 10 rounds.

Fast forward to level 51 and just remembered I never did it. Go back and promptly walk through 4 levels to find out that's all there is. Oops. Oh well, more Ascendancy points for me now.

nah. I was confused and real worried about that 1/10 thing too.
I cleared 3 rooms iirc, and saw that 3/10. and went, "are you fucking serious?". thankfully, yes. 2nd ascend is only 4 rooms.

now, heres were it gets confusing again. You can do either trial for 3rd and 4th ascendancies. (technically could have for 2nd as well.)
the key to look at is the # of floors or trials.
2nd ascend is 2 floors, or 4 trials.
3rd ascend is 3 floors, or 7 trials.
4th ascend is 4 floors, or 10 trials.

so, take note of the number of floors/trials on the tokens when they drop. that determines if you can upgrade ascend. note the 2 floor djinn tokens are for the 2nd ascend, not 3rd.
