This game HAS sucked me back in in the same way poe1 did back in the day. While current poe1 I have a real hard time enjoying.
But.. there are 100% things in this that are giant steps backwards.
ascend trials. lab is a million times better.
map proc gen seems much worse.
Build diversity has been on my mind as well.
seeing people make chronomancers, and everyone has the same build. Not only that, every stormweaver ALSO has the same build as every chronomancer..
Because you can't build around A skill. you build around the entire school.
my cold chronomancer doesn't just use frost wall. they use frostwall, frostbomb, frost bolt, coldsnap. archmage. like everyone else. only eye of winter, or freezing shards are optional. and maybe frost nova.
or, blood witch. we could argue on why blood witches aren't played much. if its just mijnions/infernalist is that much better.. or maybe its because theres 3 physical spells in total.
builds in poe2 use every skill available. so end up all the same.

That sucks.
I assume its your crossbows that I was using to help level up with. I hit a hard wall the 1st day or so on the Act 1 boss and had no chance in hell with my gear. Hit the guild bank and instantly tripled my dps and was off and going again.
I always put everything back to help the next person.
Just want to say I appreciate you helping out!

Leveling my ranger its been nice to have constant upgrades, I pull out a bow use it for 5 levels and then swap it out for another.. while I am sure we have complete dick fucks in the guild hopefully most of them aren't turbo fags. I keep throwing a fair amount of shit in there I mean you aren't going to find godly end game shit but if people are just melting them down for gold or disenchanting then we should boot the fags.. Sadly there is no log another thing if these retards at GGG would of just copied WoW for so many basic things that have already been perfected years ago we wouldn't be dealing with.

yea this is the manipulation effect. the peak items prices will go up absurdly. while the market floods with lesser items getting cheaper.
be curious if the AH accelerates or slows this down. more people putting in items (that arn't the mainpulators) may bring some sanity down. tho they would also jsut feed the monpolizers heh

Unless ofcourse you are deep endgame and know what you are looking for. This kind of shit tends to fix itself relatively quick, the problem is there is no PoE Ninja yet that the general playbase knows to prevent this stupidity. My guess is divines will stop around 50 and drop down to 45 or so and stay there, at that point top tier gear will settle then everything else will. But yea for today till it stops buy in exalts and at reasonable prices (ie. dont spend more then 1 on gear before maps, and dont spend more then 2 on gear pre t5 maps unless you know how to price shit).

GGG has never level gated currency before. Technically you could get a mirror from act 1, though I think they do still apply some weighting. Also end game just has the benefit of higher mob density and faster clearing once you get your build going so you're just pulling the slot machine lever way faster than you realize compared to early game. And then theres just good old RNG, I remember one league not getting a single Ex into maps, than another I had gotten 7 before maps, and this was when Ex were rarer and more valuable in PoE 1.

Some of this is just how it goes with the economics of fresh economies. If you're in the front you get to buy up good shit before the prices all skyrocket when people catch up and demand catches up with them. With PoE1 people level so quickly and have strategies so refined that being in the front there is tough. PoE2 still had people going super hard but the playerbase was so large and had so many fish that being ahead of the masses had a much larger time horizon.
