You're seeing their account name on the trade site. Direct whisper sends to the name of the character they're playing. The message should still go through.

Getting no response from 95% of the people you message is GGG's beloved "player interaction" working as intended.

Yeah in PoE 1 using the trade website was one thing, getting people to answer whispers even for stuff that wasn't that cheap is another.

It'll be way worse in the "Holy shit I need to always be concentrating because I only get 1 attempt" world of PoE2

I unspecced Mind over Matter today and went all in on Energy Shield (a Ghazzy tip).

Having a good time today with as much ES as I can on the skill tree and running Grim Feast aura. I feel pretty much immortal right now.

Can also go Chaos Inoculation if you want immunity but I felt I lost too much spirit from the Ascendencie as they scale of max life.

With the knowledge that I have already, I am trying to play fresh toons through the campaign without twinking.

I hear about crafting to bridge the gaps and to improve gear, but having run 3 diff classes through the campaign now...only Acts 1-3 and hitting 48-50 on multiple classes, I still dont have enough currency to effectively craft at lower levels.

I just dont see crafting being viable at low lvls at all without having a high level farmer to pass shit down to your alts.

"Crafting" at those levels is essentially just aug/transmute with the occasional regal and doing A LOT of vendor checking.

I'm skeptical that this is nessesary, seems like it's a choice to sacrifice to travel nodes to get some notables.

Well if you cvan come up with a melee chronomancer build better im all for it. But considering it can do all content including +4 Pinnacles im skeptical.

I'm personally running all lightning and just having a blast.

Killing Palm
Staggering Blow
Falling Thunder
Storm Wave
Charged Staff (Later game)
Siphoning Strike
Tempest Flurry


Get the ability that gives you charges on killing palm kills and siphoning strike on charged enemies and just fuck shit up with Falling Thunder or Charged Staff.

Killing Palm/Staggering blow are great for getting out of danger as is that other jumping staff attack name I forget.

You specifically chose to use a caster ascendancy for a melee build, what did you expect!? Every build is not this.

I mean, this is basically what Lab was too and it was tied to ascendancy. The only reason people didn't bitch about "one and done" there is because power creep made Lab so easy you didn't even need to worry about mechanics.

But I remember quite a bit of whining back when lab first released.

Couple questions, sometimes my minions go missing and I’ve tried all but putting their pics on milk cartons.

Also I have the 3rd ascendancy Beidats will, how come I don’t get to use the spirit that’s being reserved for the hp loss??

Do you understand why the build works or no? There is a reason for this. I am not even talking about this part here (even though it is is an issue cause they added curves and loops instead of stright lines like the PoE tree)




See the nodes in the top left and the nodes in the far right? They are cornerstones in the Corrupting Cry warrior build as well. The PROBLEM is inbetween its a lot of +5 small passives instead of interesting shit like the PoE1 tree, not the fact that you have to go far for em. It used to be you would go through the middle sections and grab some life or resist or armor or whatever. Now they have cut down on pathing and intermediate power notables so the best way is to go around the "long" way because you dont even have an effiecent or useful option to not. They used to have notables along the way now you have to branch off for any of em. Its LESS INTERESTING. Thats the issue.

Edit. Here is Roughly to the same point on the PoE tree using the same number of points as the image above



Not only do I get 25 bonus strength in this tree I also get 23% life and 8% chaos resist. Ontop of this if I wanted any notables near this pathing they are no more then 3 nodes away, on the PoE 2 tree they are ATLEAST 4 ontop of each small one being +5 strength down from +10.

Sometimes it bugs for me as well. I usually unsummon everything and then start adding whatever Minion I am using again.

Not sure about the second one. Unless you use Chaos Inoculation you should get more spirit.

Check guild back just stocked up some 5-8 skill gems
