Ya I just thought doing that too but I just figured out the easier way lol.

Yeah, you can math it yourself. Take the average damage and multiple that by the attacks per second and it'll spit out dps number the trade site gives.

PROTIP I just noticed: when looking at the tradesite, it doesn't say prefix or suffix on items. So if you notice, prefixes have single adjectives for them while suffixes have 'of the x' on them.

This lets you know how well an item with only 4 affixes (for instance) will benefit from some EX slams, for example.

Jamanra was kicking my ass so bad, I swear his damage tables are fucked up, sometimes he'd one shot me, and his lightning spires following me like a homing missile was terrible.

Had to get someone to help me to get it done, that was a fucking brutal boss. He definitely needs to be nerfed.

This kind of feels like my experience in general as a 22 monk. Maybe others can relate?

I’ll be clearing a map, making steady progress, and then all of the sudden I’ll pull like three more mobs than normal and die or I’ll get three shot and die and then have to start over. It always feels super random like an RNG dmg nuke.

So, then I just run through the map and avoid all the respawns until I get back to where I died, which is typically the longest distance between checkpoints bc why not.

Seems to happen to me in maps, though it very well could be me missing something. Happens less often now that I am capped resists in maps, but it has definitely still happened and not even a rare in sight.

Daidraco Daidraco Any insight in to using Gemcutters on Skill Gems for Merc? Have a handful and was thinking about throwing them on a skill but wasn't sure if you had any exprience in maps as to what was worth improving quality on.

I kinda want to throw some exalts on this, crazy Evasion and I think I have a skill for body armor evasion bonus to armor (maybe I was thinking of Leather Bound Gauntlets passive and had it backwards)

You get enough Gemcutter's to do your most used skills by the time you're in the ~11 tier. My Explosive Grenade and Poison Grenade are both 20% and Im .. kind of just stockpiling them at this point.

I think that body armour is already ruined with the life regen, personally. Also, body armour slows your movement. Which should be the last thing you want.

Christmas stuff eating up all my time, so I havent been on much.

I really hope they decide to, at some point, make end game less grueling.

I realized that they basically made it so you're playing a short-term hardcore mechanic every single time. And it's not only hardcore, it's a no-hit run most of the time. For something you'll run hundreds of times, that's just way too stressful to be "fun" in any sense of the word.

They absolutely need to rethink the one portal thing. It's annoying for even the best gamers, and soul crushing for people under the curve. They need to bring back 6 portals and add some sort of 1 portal incentive for giga chads trying to big dick crazy maps. But it needs to be an option and not mandatory. Really painful for lower levels building their waystone pool up too to die to shitty local mobs over and over and getting 0 waystone return.

I realized that they basically made it so you're playing a short-term hardcore mechanic every single time. And it's not only hardcore, it's a no-hit run most of the time. For something you'll run hundreds of times, that's just way too stressful to be "fun" in any sense of the word.
My problem is the game becomes both easier and grindier as you go. I really enjoyed being naive and underheated, it made the campaign hard and fun to beat. However once you get above the damage curve it really starts to just resemble the same old gameplay.

I don't mind the one portal really. What I do mind however is losing all of the special mechs(like bosses and breeches etc) on the map when you fail. That's whats really really dumb imo.

Honestly it's not as bad as it seems. It only seems so because the game is new and most people don't know how to optimize yet. Once people understand how to gear and use the tree better, you'll be mostly steamrolling everything. I very rarely die now and I'm running juiced corrupted t15 and 16 maps with atlas tree shit that gives rares 2 extra mods and my gear while pretty good could be tremendously better. They do however need to make it so you keep things like bosses and breeches and other mechs on the maps instead of losing them completely. That shit is f'n dumb.

Is there a way to see what your weapon DPS is in game somehow? I noticed that when you searched on the trade website that it'll tell you. And it seems absolutely retarded that there's some kind of calculation being done by their servers to determine it, but only when something is listed for trade.

The main way I have been doing it. Open your skills, there is a dps number next to them. Then put in different weapons and you can see the dps go up or down.

Ya but that doesn't exactly work for a weapon you're looking to buy. It's fine for like a 1 or 2 ex weapon but when you're dropping divines you kinda wanna know exactly what you're getting.

Can't get fgts out of maps for 10ex trades. Can't "craft" meaningful upgrades to my weapon. Fun game.
