Playing infernalist. Only character that I have doing maps. Was doing early maps (3-4) but a level 8 one dropped. So figured... what the hell. Maps at 4 are easy, figured I'd try. Have about 1.5k life and 2k ish ES. Resists only at 65-70ish. So not well geared.

Map didn't have any big modifiers. Just some +gold, monster rarity and I think monster HP. Was a boss node with a breach.

Noticed no difference on the map from a lower level one. Mobs died as fast, rares all fell down. Figured I might die to some boss mechanic since I figured they would do a lot of damage and was prepared for that. However, considering how well it was going I was starting to think that maybe I could just skip lower level maps now and start doing at least 6-7+.

Oh there is the breach.... Cleared all around it. Clicked breach. The circle started to open, first mob that I saw I think was just a regular guy. Then a tentacle or somesuch came out from him and ever so gently touched me. Went from full life to splat. I could see the tentacle going out too, not fast. Just .... touch, instant death. Shield or HP didn't have a visual drain. They were just from full to not there.

No epic boss mechanic... Just a regular mob did a gentle "boop on the snoot". :(

So... Not ready, need way more ES. Hard though to find upgrades for ES + resists that also have spirit.

this guy accounted for about half my deaths through the campaign....roll stinks, running with +speed is the way. i'm a dad gamer though ymmv

I'm instinctively dodge rolling away from rares on kill because the regular death effect looks like some kind of crazy blood explosion.

I use a different skill for trash clear and boss killing, the boss killer is ranged (Bow Shot) while the trash clear usually ends up being melee (Spiral Shot).

Get up in his face and roll towards him to his back and he never hits. Half the bosses in the game miss with their big attacks if you're standing right on top of them and just a smidge off center.

Got to act 2 boss with monk and snagged a better quarter staff / socketed and exalt/qualitied it......made such a huge difference in damage. Wouldn't say he melted, but killed him in like 2 minutes compared to 6+ minutes previously where I ran out of flasks and got destroyed.

Thanks again guys, had to have almost doubled my dps.

Ok cleaned up the guild bank a little bit again.. At least the Waystones tab and Tab 1 which has the ascendancy shit in it. The other tabs I don't really even look at but I might go through some of tomorrow and delete anything that isn't even helpful for anyone.

I haven't looked at the logs but stop being total cunts with the waystones, and just dumping in it please. I used the little bit of currency in the guildbank to at least juice the T10+ waystones with at least 2 affixes, and cleaned out combined some of the rare ones where dickheads were simply dumping their 3 suffix trash stones into some better ones so people are falling into noob traps or having to waste exalts on it.

We could just some replenishment waystones in the T12+ range if anyone can spare, also if people can bank some Transmutation and Augmentation orbs so we can juice the tabs.

Right now there are runes in the guildbank but if anyone needs something specific fucking ask. If you guys have spare relics which I know you faggots do because I am swimming in the American Inventors and have tossed in a fair number already toss a few more in Stash Tab 1 so retard American Inventor children can get some honor resist because we know they are shitty and stupid and need a hand.

Aside from that stop putting in your stupid fucking level 1 class skills like rolling slam from your abandoned warriors we don't need 15 of them and the space is full. Nor does anyone need your American Inventorly 30th copy of a strip away support gem you are too fucking stupid to use. Gonna delete them American Inventors too.

I’m guilty of putting the way stones in the bottom right corner, I’ve got lots of the ascendancy things I’ll throw in next time I’m on. I’ll put some transmutation of the orbs you asked for next time I log on, I’ve got like 600 of each I’ll throw in couple hundred of each.

Also I got a fuck ton of uniques that I don’t know what to do with and I’ve got a level 6 warrior already kitted out with uniques in every slot damn near that still blows trannys to play.

When I get time I"m gonna clean up the two hander tab.

I know what stats are good for actual manly two hander mace alpha male weapons. But for you gay monks what stats are good on your quarterstaves?

fuck me this map is just a perfect example of poe2 movement and visual problems. all thse fucking trees lock you into place when you touch them. dodge, blink, movement in general. instead of flowing around them. you stop dead. then, its covered with tiny hills that are half traversable, and half not. they look exactly the same. look at the screen and then the map and tell me you could have picked out what was and wasnt?

Also cleaned up the body armor some and sort them by level ranges 1-10, 11-20, and so on. There are a few pieces in there that could be decent for leveling if someone slammed and ex or 2 into them. Some are still shit but I have done enough for now.

Would appreciate if someone would go through Helm, Gloves, Boots, Jew Belts, Melee, Shields, Wands, Bows and shit.

Honestly the item shit in this game is pretty simple right now. % Damage, + skills shit like that. Armors +life, +mana +resist + energy shield

Yeah that map is fucked, also the height changes fuck with all sorts of abilities. Traveling south is particularly deadly. I'd say half of my endgame deaths were on that map.

Now try it as a melee. Only reason I managed it was because I could time warp, reduce speeds and got really lucky with a 7 Hammer of The Gods Chain. Fight is super stupid. Arbiter +4 is the same deal, if you dont kill it immediately you just die, none of it is balanced at all.

Yeah no, fuck melee in isometric ARPGs. It hasn't been fun since D2 barb. I've tried. D3 monk was okay but nowhere near as fun as Wizard or DH.

I don't even know how to get to Arbiter lol. I've killed Xesht three times and Olroth once. I don't know how to find the ritual thing or I'm just very unlucky, and I've only farmed HALF of a simulacrum shard thing. I'm having a hard time finding Delirium Precursors which is limiting my ability to get more Delirium Precursors and simulacrum shards. And no one wants to sell them.
