Got to act 2 boss with monk and snagged a better quarter staff / socketed and exalt/qualitied it......made such a huge difference in damage. Wouldn't say he melted, but killed him in like 2 minutes compared to 6+ minutes previously where I ran out of flasks and got destroyed.

Thanks again guys, had to have almost doubled my dps.

You exalted it?? Huh? What entire crafting mechanic have I missed?

Yeah no, fuck melee in isometric ARPGs. It hasn't been fun since D2 barb. I've tried. D3 monk was okay but nowhere near as fun as Wizard or DH.

I don't even know how to get to Arbiter lol. I've killed Xesht three times and Olroth once. I don't know how to find the ritual thing or I'm just very unlucky, and I've only farmed HALF of a simulacrum shard thing. I'm having a hard time finding Delirium Precursors which is limiting my ability to get more Delirium Precursors and simulacrum shards. And no one wants to sell them.

So on the map you may find a citadel. They look like big pyramid maps, use a T15 waystone in it and you will get one of 3 frags to open the Arbiter fight. If you want to easily find them just follow the coast in the atlas, its boring as shit but its a sure fire way to find em. I was just buying frags a couple weeks ago to open the fight, now pfft fuck dem prices, but follow the coast and you will get what you need pretty quick. The fight itself isnt bad till +4, there's plenty of YouTube of it and I recommend it its NOT a fair fight at all.

Do you read the tooltips on items? lol

I sit like 10 ft away from my 65” TV and PoE2 tooltips are a legit 10 px font.

It may have one of the worst tooltip UI’s for console gaming I’ve experienced.

So, no…

I feel like I'm lost in the fucking wilderness on this atlas, I've gone so far lol.

Was just a rare staff in the guild stash with 2 open prefixes that was better than what I had by a lot.

I exalted it 2x for 2 more mods and added quality and sockets, wouldn't really call it crafting just pulled the handle a few times.

Depends on your class and spec. My minion witch is still going strong in act 5.
I switched to this minion build as soon as you can get skeletal reavers and just absolutely crushed the campaign and went from like t1 maps to t4 to t6 to t10 then basically straight to t15 easily. This is with bad knockoffs of the armor suggestions and like +3 minion skills max. Finally starting to upgrade gear but smashing t15s fully juiced no problem. Smashed all trials with it too.

The key to this build with bad gear is staying very far away from all threats. I watch the edge of my screen and as soon as I see mobs I run away a screen or two and let pets fight until they come back to me. Same with boss fights just stay as far away as possible. Super cheese tactic but it dominates.

man rustbowl is liquid gay. 20 monsters remain to complete map. whole map revealed. can't see where monsters spawn till i walk OVER their invisible spot. no skul markers for remaining rares.

oh....i guess it can't be won:

The problem I have with the minion build is the crazy price on + Skill to minion Items. If you are just starting off, you will not have collected enough by end of campaign to purchase those items(Unless you get stupid lucky). So how does the build do without that stat? Also, what is considered a good number of reavers and clerics to easily get through Tier-1-4 maps? How is this build better than a bomber/skull build with the same equipped items?

you don't need to kill all the monsters, just the rares

EDIT: oh, that just seems like a bug

Everything about trade in this game sucks, I should have gone SSF.
SSF until unreasonable is best mode. Unfortunately, the "crafting" means that comes far too early.

I just uninstalled. Played SSF into maps and hit a wall due to inability to generate a good weapon. Finally traded for one and got an instant 4x increase in power, which totally cheapened the experience I'd had to that point.

I'm going to put the game on hold until they polish the endgame. It was such a weird experience, where the game design is a complete inversion on the campaign.

I wonder if they will hit the ground running tmrw with an announcement of upcoming changes or are we going to have to wait another week.
