Brand new game, better graphics, no 10 yrs of league bloat, getting in on the ground floor and everyone is equal. And its $30 to get in not $480. EZ price to pay for a new AAA game.

High dollar supporter packs at significant numbers is the only way I see PoE2 beating out other games like BG3 and CoD6 in revenue.

Graphics are subjective. I personally don't give a shit, but I really can't argue one way or the other.
Bloat is a bullshit excuse. Most of the systems are modular and can be easily ignored until you are ready to tackle them. I haven't done delve and heist in years.
If the reset is so enticing, you should be playing PoE1 leagues. This is mostly moot as there will be a significant amount of people outpacing everyone in this thread from day 1.
The $480 comment was regarding the necessary math to beat established and popular games in revenue.

They can copy whatever the fuck they want. Its still a brand new game that plays different than POE1. And bloat is DEFINITEELY one of the biggest deterrents from people going back. I dont care how modular it is. It will take you like the entire league to get all caught up if not 2.

Bloat is not a bullshit excuse. When you are new you have no idea what you can ignore, what system encompasses what atlas nodes, how to craft with the myriad of methods, etc. Its entirely overwhelming. You're speaking as a veteran which is a *whooooosh* take

And the "right now by revenue" obviously means like this week or the month, which is not a far stretch to say that POE2 would outpace a 2-3 yr old game or even COD which is new, but MOSTLY played on the consoles, even at the $30 mark.
