I did it......Arbiter down. Think this is where I stop until a huge patch comes. Died once and didn't realize you need to activate the Omen of Amelioration in this game, oh well. Nothing good drop-wise, but at least he's dead and the stupid quest notification is gone.

Any item that has a retarded low price and has been up for more than 30 seconds, I usually put that person on my ignore list. Items like that are almost assuredly just price fixing retards trying to bait the ignorant into posting low prices on high value items, while they watch live search.

Nice! I failed my first two Citadels for retarded reasons and it's really just made me ignore the quest for now.

Thanks! That's essentially why I waited until I had enough frags to run a few times just in case.

Did have a ton of issues in P1 of the Jamanrya Citadel, seems the storm thing where the shield gets put up is kinda.buggy and I got killed twice for seemingly no reason, I was 100% inside the shield but maybe too close to the wall? Idk but it felt cheap as fuck.

Can run two more Arbiters now but I think I'm just going to wait and see what they announce next - end game and tbe atlas in general needs a ton of work.

Yup, one of my failed Citadels was the storm shield part on that fight. I just got blown up like 1 second after the storm starts and I ran behind the shield.

Not into twitch thots so I have to wonder what makes someone "best player in the world at poe" ? fast leveling ? amount of currency per unit of time ? first kill on random shit ?

Anyway, I had more fun in POE2 than I ever did in POE1 (and steam says I've put 2500 hours in poe1 plus whatever I played with the Standalone Client). It's early access, we just got over the holidays and if they cater to 20h/day twitch streamers, they're gonna end up with only them playing. A lot of POE1 content always felt untouchable for me if I wasn't willing to no-life it from the start of the league.

I don't want the optimal strategy in a game to be to run in a straight line over and over and over and over and over. That's just Clicker Heroes with extra steps. I'm already annoyed that Delirium is "required" and makes the game look like shit.

He's literally saying if they dont change this then only people who can play 20h/day will play. And he's right. Current PoE2 tailors more to no lifers than any other ARPG I've ever played.

He's regarded as the best player in PoE because he's just legitimately one of the best video game players of anything. Watching him play is like watching an AI if you are familiar with PoE at all. And he wins basically every race event they put on.

The PoE2 end game is garbage, most people share this view. Its actual shit. To the point I got to t15 maps and then never interacted with it again. PoE2 is considerably worse with having to "no life" it than PoE1 is. Considerably.

The man can theory craft pobs in the fly. If you watch him during the race events he's constantly changing items, gems, passive points just to overcome some specific mechanic he's at. Watched him on one of the gauntlet races doing uber cortex was just insane. Literally changing gear and gems during the fight.

This is all on hardcore as well as gauntlet which is a much more punishing ruleset for race leagues (increased damage, projectiles whatever you can think of)

Yeah I'm basically done for now, ran a few maps after work today as hard as I could make them, like -15% resist, 99% ailment, extra dmg as chaos / fire / etc.

It wasn't enjoyable, though surprisingly I did beat a boss or two, but overall it felt stressful.....not really something I want a lot of in a game. May actually go back and see how my Settlers character is doing but fuck this version of an endgame.

Coincidentally, every T16 I get anymore happens to be the waystone with the WORST possible mods, lol.

Really like the game but lots of work to be done, you can’t make the game boss fights hard, hard to obtain (expensive) and still leave you with only one chance to win.

Mapping is fun, the system around it is garbage.

Crafting is gambling, there is zero crafting in this game everything is gambling.

Uniques fucking suck, hate me all you want but need some D4 style uniques that completely change abilities into new abilities.

I ran the Stone one easy enough but the next one was the Werewolf guy and I forgot I had my bosses at +3 and his added cold damage froze me with every graze, rendering me essentially useless in the fight. Didn't even phase him once.

Will nerf back down to +0 boss next time.

I just want 3.26 at this point, then check back in on PoE2 for each league/patch/reset/whatever they're calling it in beta. It's not in a state where I want to grind it really.

Not even D4 uniques, POE1 has a good amount of those as well, its almost like they didn't want something to end up super OP so they just made 90% of them terrible, I don't get it either.

Couldn’t do PoE 1, tried but spells being tied to my gear, game being old and I knew jack shit, PoE 2 just made sense to wait for that. Hopefully they bring that like in poe1 then because there isn’t a single unique in this game that changes spells or abilities and the closest thing to it is the staff that they’ve admitted it getting nerfed.
