Well, I've been having a blast to 50 or so (love the templar build I chose) - for me though, what keeps this game from being really really great is the loot (or more importantly, the armor design, character models, etc). I get that they have neat looking helms, and glowie light sticks for sale for real money and that doesn't bother me at all. However, my character literally looks the exact same now as it did 30 levels ago. The character models themselves are terrible, and the animations are mostly poor as well. I guess those are the cuts that have to be made as an independent developer, but it still takes away from the game for me (again, for me). I know it doesn't bother most people though, as the game is doing really really well (and rightfully so). After playing this, then getting in bed and playing d3 on ps3 I can only sit back and imagine this gameplay, character progression, dark level design, etc with Blizzards art team behind it and varied armors. Would really be a close to perfect lootwhore game. Won't keep me from playing though, just that it detracts from an otherwise great gaming experience.
