I started cyclone but switched to ground slam to get better coverage. It takes time and gear for the dps of groundslam to really get going though so it’s initially somewhat weak. It still never really scales all that well but if 2-3m shaper isn’t enough for blights then it’s not worth my time or effort. I’d really like to play the perforate gladiator again but the sand stance dps is shit and the aoe is too small anyway.

So pro tip:

In delve if you see a node that says "Contains _______ items" (physical, fire, lightning, cold, minion, curse, etc) DO IT. It doesn't matter how hard it is to get to. It's worth it. So those nodes previously had about one singular chest that would drop one, MAYBE two items and it was usually just a shit tier unique, but occasionally something good like +1 spectre chest.

Well that's changed. Now at delve 60-something (ilvl 73 I think) I'm getting 3 chests with 2-3 rares each. Not only that but the highly elusive lvl 5 on hit rings are dropping out of them. Regularly. Vuln on hit, conductivity, flammability, etc. It's lvl 5 but it basically saves you a 3 link which is huge for summoners. Also they now dropped items that have pre-rolled fossil mods. So you could get a -15 mana cost chest from a "mana items" delve node (if those exist, I'm not sure). Pretty fucking big. That's why +1 spectre chests are all over the fucking place. Hit one "contains minion items" node and you're getting at LEAST 1 +1spectre chest and several bound fossils. Oh and I'm FAIRLY certain you can get Incursion mod items as well for the node type. However it seems to be one item per so you're either getting a special delve item, fossil crafted item, incursion item, unique of that type. Not getting a fossil + incursion rolled item as far as I've noticed. If you could you'd see some of the best rares in game coming out of Delve.

Delve is king again.

Yeah but some of their X.whatever expansions have been very meaty. And frankly, that isn’t a diablo immortal level announcement. Still the king ARPG.

Reddit is probably right. They are pulling a Blizzard. 4.0 will magically be ready the day after Diablo 4 is announced. until that ime, its just polish, polish, polish.

I am trying out a spectre build but I have enjoyed outright swarm. Where do you get the better ranged spectres at?

Ive really liked the slave drivers from act 5.

Delve stash tab announced. But no crafting slot on the tab

You've got options. Solar Guards are the best for pure range from Solaris 2 in Act 6. Good Ae clear, good range, good AE, tanky, and very respectable single target. I use slave drivers which are more AE and a little less range, but with Frenzy minion gem they seek and destroy. And with the Unending Hunger gem they become faster and faster the more they kill so they just auto gib anything they see, so range isn't as big a deal.

Saw on reddit that they are not developing a new engine for 4.0 it's just going to be an overhaul of the existing one.

Takes that long to put pants on the Templer apparently.

Am I crazy but wasn't it supposed to be far more imminent than that? I was actually thinking this X'mas but the fact that we are 3.8 clearly that was dumb. But more like April 2020 seemed likely. That is a UGE push. How are they going to bridge this gap? Shit I hope it is like a 12 month Leaguestone league. I am chubbing up just thinking about it.

Ok explain the tower game to me. I click on the pump. It runs out and I follow it on the mini map and click on a few towers. I stand there and spam my attack as I really only try the 1 tendril one. I never see anything come out. I just stand there spamming and upgrade the towers when I can. It's about 50/50 I get a message complete and can loot the chest, or I get a message pump was destroyed. But I never see anything at the pump or anywhere else for that matter. I must not be hitting anything either because I have life leach and mana leach and my mana goes slowly down and I have to use the flask. I never die, just stand there spamming for a minute or two until I get the message I won or lost.

I was going to watch someone streaming do it but they just bypass it or run the blight maps and some of those look like someone puked over the screen heh.

Had a 26% armor smith syndicate bench, had nothing to use it on, so I used a Dendrobate I got. 6 socket in about 50 jewelers, 6 link in about 15.

Too bad I have 0 fucking plans to use it.

Oh yeah, I hit a "mana or curse items" node in delve. Does indeed drop +1 curse body armours, bunch weird mana/curse nodes (ailment damage per curse on amulet), but didn't get a +1 curse corrupted amulet. Unsure if they can drop from those, but maybe! Also seeing on reddit that 1 socket/2 socket resos are pretty rare currently. I think I have like 60 3-socket to 2 2-socket to 0-1 sockets. I have used at least one primitive and one potent though. Still sucks as I think 2 socket resonators are the best of the bunch for mass crafting decent stuff like stygians.
