Been testing a few builds for the upcoming league, might be set on a flicker/rf. It's pretty fucking amazing and I'm only level 67 or 68 now. Will have about 5khp at the end of this morning and hopefully can snag those frenzy charge life regen boots to really make this build shine. As it is now I just chew through my ruby flasks because of the degen on blood rage but the damage and speed is just insane. It's enough to make me forget about my 35kdps arc guy so I think it's pretty impressive.
Just chilling in the Reddit guild now but if an officer for RR guild is on this morning/afternoon, toss me an invite. I will /friend whatever names I can find in the thread and keep an eye out for someone

Are you on HC? I think I have those boots on HC1m, I know for sure on 1msc I have every unique if you need them.
You sound like you are a shadow like I am, be aware they changed our tree pretty significantly and removed a lot of crit. Some of the devs last night commented on even more changes coming next week with the tree, they are really trying to make it easier for newer players to have a semi set path to general builds.

This is on standard sadly, started off as a Scion for the instant access to 2.4 life regen. If you dont mind keeping those boots till the 1 month leagues end, I would gladly use them and pay ya whatever you want. This August update will be pretty sweet, I'm excited to see how the tree looks 24 hours before they roll out the changes.

The new tree will most likely be revealed like 24 hours before the new three month leagues. I expect to see 140k dps arc builds and 20k+hp shit going on. This game will be changing massively I think

Trying out an Arc build. This spell just feels like cheating. You don't have to aim or anything, just click wildly and everything dies. It's like playing ez-mode. Insane damage and doesn't even need any added damage gems. Arc + lightning penetration + faster casting just rapes everything. You don't even need a 5L or 6L setup to really mow things down.

I've used a three link wand for my entire arc lifespan. I id and alch every wand I find, its a costly obsession but it payed off. +2 lightning gems and +1 gems. 55% mana regen and a bunch of other stuff. Arc/echo/emp gives me a level 25 arc sitting at like 21k dps in town. Once you add in frenzy and power charges/haste/crit, then it gets crazy. Could change a few things around for low life and get it even better. With shit gear and some luck on maps, arc is just fucking unfair.

Ugh I want to play but making myself wait for the Masters expansion. I'm such a lazy gamer these days that I'm hoping GGG releases the skill tree far enough in advance for others to theorycraft my first character for me. Fuck getting to maps and thinking "I should have been..."

Don't forget you get roughly 18 respec points not counting any regrets from just questing. You just need to focus more on do you want to play a melee or ranged character and what your end game goals are. Either to raid Atziri / Uber or just doing maps and then its no problem respecing. I respec almost every single build I do when I switch to low life or spec into regen, auras etc around level 80.
I am going to Tank with the goal of farming Uber raid, so even though the shadow is being redesigned and life is gone ill be running a life melee shadow probably the blender 2.0 or something along those lines up through 70ish (piety farm until rich) then going low life into Aegis Aurora --> Shavs --> Respec into aura nodes --> CoE --> respec pain attunement etc

^ you can pretty much just use shitty snoring bond to level till 65 and just grab the basic nodes. No need to be serious about anything early on, just head towards the somewhat major nodes and branch off when you need too.
Decided to make a normal HC guy today since I was missing some achievments, make my guy and check the reddit guild bank, not a fucking thing. Check my bank after a few levels and theres some orbs and shit in there! Totally forgot I had an invasion guy to level 80. Not enough to buy anything for early level farming but a stack of id scrolls is like a bar of gold starting out, haha!

Binos/Unguils/Prismatic Eclipse (preferably Unguils for Adders touch + dagger crit nodes)
I ripped my +5% dual wield block corrupted Prismatic Eclipse in the 1mhc. I was one flicking merciless lunaris with Mightflay + Prismatic cuz of crit nodes.
Like I said before, the most dangerous thing was double Volitile Stormblood -max, because I flicker so fast I can't see the screen.
I'll take resists more seriously this time.
(this means marauder nodes or purity aura depending on skill tree changes) If I can't figure the gear part out.
So far though, dw crit dagger flicker life is ultra fun would rip again for this one.
Edit: Vaal Cyclone/Vaal Lightning Warp is hilarious with this build.

This last 4mo league was the first time I went for the 100% resists route with aura / witch flask nodes and man I still got my shit pushed in by Uber Atziri. Normal Atziri wasnt a problem but damnit to hell I want a video for my vault of me soloing uber this coming 3mo league.

I might do max dual wield block + Acrobatics/Phase/Ondars (Since I'll be up there for the dagger nodes anyways)
Think I'd have to go CI? Maybe get the regen to energyshield node? +Blood dance boots.
It'd be sweet if the Regen to ES node paired with Eldritch Battery actually increased mana regen rate.
