PoE2 is ~3 weeks away and I want to be hungry for it. These temp leagues are nice for a little 1 week go if they're crazy cool, but this one is just the equivalent to the same already VERY old league but with bonus drops. I got in and got to maps and got my box, but unless I'm really, really bored I don't want to be doing anything I'd rather be doing in a fresh, new, and hopefully rebalanced January league. It kind of taints the SSF feeling too with the 1200% quant and rarity mods making uniques just shit out everywhere, which is good for people, but true new SSFers will hit a harsher reality come January.

Basically just because the pie is still there, I'm not going to eat it while full.

I hope the PoE2 EA is even half as good as they are hyping it up to be. Will probably wait for some user reviews before I decide to pay for early access.(If I'm lucky I have around 200$ of stash/MTX payments)

Also hoping the delayed new 3.26 will be amazing too, but we will see.

There's not a lot to play in it, it's very much like a new early beta for poe and I think a lot of people are going to be super disappointed when they finish the beta and find out(cause they haven't been keeping track of what's being said about it) that there's no mapping or anything, it's just farming the first few acts with no actual long term goal or anything. I remember enjoying PoE beta a lot back then and there were only 2 acts but that's cause all the character building stuff was so novel and even back then there were tons of skills and supports to use, but I think someone who's been playing PoE1 for years and just live and breath in mass loot speedrun meta shit is going to get whiplash from that.

Yeah, post 3.0 PoE players are probably going to be disappointed. This isn't testing the game as much as it's dipping your toes into the systems. It's going to be figuring out interactions and possible builds, but at the starting to MAYBE mid level. I feel a lot of people are over hyping this shit as PoE 1 is such a stellar product, but it took 5 years for them to even fully release the game, so people need to temper their expectations. Hopefully PoE1 leagues keep hitting on all cylinders to keep the majority happy.

I dunno, I always like the initial chase of gearing up a new toon in a fresh start, and I watch/listen to videos on the other monitor while grinding maps once the stupid Acts are over. So I have enjoyed the new event, but I haven't seen a div yet and I haven't lucked in on my required gem transfigure (it's 2 div on the market) so I am starting to run out of steam.

Resumed Necro Settlers today. Got a Divine in second Lab and pawned it, Holy League Inflation... 370 Chaos for 1 Divine.

What's a good leveling skill for a heirophant eventually going for archmage ice nova? I haven't played a caster for a long time. Using rolling magma right now at 30.

I had my girlfriend (she volunteered) make a character on necro settlers and got it to 50 for the MtX. That was a total waste, crap helmet.

Here's a long shot. Anyone with a character they are no longer playing on settlers (not necro settlers) have any extra currency? I have multiple characters still semi active and one I'm trying to fix.

Yeah, as they said, Firestorm probably. I just used Rolling Magma (+ Holy Flame Totem) until Firestorm unlocked. I ran so many Merciless Labs before I got a transfig of same gem type that twice I looked up if the options for the font had changed to only Uber Lab. But I finally got my Ice Nova of Frost Bolts. And it is off to the races. I even got the Frostblink of No Cast Delay from the font when I finally ran Uber Lab.

I haven't seen a friggin' div yet though - almost 90 and into red maps. Even low end shipping was throwing them at me in the regular league, but I guess I used up all my luck. Had the high mana regen amulet drop super early in the regular league as well, but not this time.

Nevermind issue solved. My import page was totally blank after a number of shutdowns and restarts it came back.

I can check but I think I blew everything on Ancient Orbs to gamba a Mageblood/Headhunter.

Edit: Borzak Borzak this is what I have left on my main guy in Normal Settlers. Let me know if theres something you need. I wont go back and play there anyway.

I think I got it figured out now. One thing I will note is the scarab market has really crashed. I was heavy into scarbs on my atlas tree I'll have to change that.

Respeced my slayer into frost blades and so far it's worked and still upgrading it. I will say frost blades visually is the most unappealing/unrewarding skill. At first I wasn't sure it was doing anything. But it works. Got to shuffle around some stuff, just threw in what I had and it worked. But I ended up with almost all uniques and -45 chaos resistence which doesn't go well with my body armor that 10% of physical taken as chaos. Oops. Back to the market.

It's different, max power, frenzy, endurance and Brutal charges and fortification stacks. Hell I had to look up what a brual charge even was.

I esssentially went the same but with LS, have the 70% crit reduce body armor with 7 charges, could run most t17 mods without too much issues. (My chaos resist is only like 20% so the phys as chaos mod was hit or miss, some enemy combos fucked me up pretty badly).

I've still been playing hoping to see a hinekora or mirror but really haven't been playing much compared to a month or so ago. May finally finish Kalguur settlement since I'm sitting on like 55 million gold, lol.

Got Uber Maven to the last phase and couldn't get her down so kind of gave up on that. I'm sure there are ways I could increase my damage even more but not sure of the point.

What kind of Game As A Service goes down on Sunday afternoon for 5 fucking hours of maintenance. I don't care if it's Monday in New Zealand either (lol). Edit - I assume the Closed Beta for PoE 2 is imminent.

Was thinking about looking into buying some upgrades. Tried to log into trade, guess not it's down. I think GGG is very afraid of what might happen if some accounts get separated from the MTX they paid for. When the video first came out that they were going to extend settlers because they had to get the account migration fixed and were unprepared for it the guy doing the video looked ghost white and he went on about how it was his mistake.

I originally started my accout through steam. I later had GGG move it off of steam because patch day became a pain and was after non steam players got their patch. Now I have two accounts tied to the same email. One is pre move off of steam and one is not. I had only bought a few stash tabs on the original and then more on the current one and it shows. The one on steam had one MtX that I won for free during the league. Odd.

I did see that Mathil was being paid to stream Eve onine again, which seemed odd. I think he undocks for 30 seconds and calls it a day lol.
