Congrats. 100 sheesh. I got enough achievements just by playing and got the weapon effect. I haven't really looked past that but I'm pretty lazy on that stuff lol.

I went all in on the atlas for scarabs from day one I could map. I sold off the scarabs I never use. Kept the ones I use and the ones I might use. 21d. So it's something.

Thanks, I took one of the str/dex 6 link chest pieces. If someone wants it let me know I kept my old one. Kind of entered the part of the season where a lot of whispers aren't answered even for multi divine sales.

Edit, put it back minimal upgrade and downgrade in another area.

I think I may still have a few of my older LS Slayer equipment that may help if anyone wants to try that build. And if I can find a hybrid body armor with the stats I need and 30% avoidance I will throw my current one in there. Am doing juiced T16s and have no issues on a lot of T17s as well, but still a ton of room to improve my char.

Will take a look this weekend.

I always run secondary Harvest on my Atlas tree, and I just sold half my casually accumulated Life essence for close to 30 Div.

The currency exchange is a revelation, and if it does not go core I am going to have a shit fit.

I don't know if it will go core. I kind of thought the currency exchange was a trial for PoE2. We'll see. It did make things much easier when you didn't need to buy in bulk and saved sending umpteen whispers with no response.

I would wager the market and a form of gold to allow trades on the market stay. I really wouldn't be surprised if a Rog dust stays as well as a sink for uniques and fuel for recombinators.

Shipping/Runesmithing/AutoMappers are definitely going to be a league-only mechanic that goes away. And that's fine.

They need to make loot like gold. If your loot filter shows it you auto loot it from a distance. Playing a cyclone now means zooming around killing shit and then coming back to pick up anything/stuff after it's dead.

Honestly, they should keep Faustus in for the exchange and not keep the gold or any other league mechanics from this one. Just have trades through Faustus be free. Having to go farm a map or two (or more if they decide to nerf gold drop rates if faustus is the only gold cost that stays) just to be able to do the exchange you want because it costs 17000 gold is not good.

It's a win/win because they can keep their "but muh player interactions" for item trades while nobody has to spam whispers 500 people to sell their 1 divine for chaos (or go through the literal max amount of listings on official trade and get 0 responses so then you have to set some other ratio to try and keep people who actually respond).

Finally bought a hybrid body armor with 30+ ele avoid and swapped out a crit multi gem to Ancestral vision. Lost a bit of DPS but having ele ailment immunity along with more chaos resist feels good so far, but 150 div probably way too much. If I don't decide to sell my old armor to recoup some currency I'll put it in the guild stash if anyone would use.

Wondering if it may be worth dropping 2 hp passives and getting the third cluster notable (fuel the fight I think?)

The gold cost or something equivalent needs to stay because it kept flippers from just buying all the divines/chaos/scarabs and upping them 10% over and over. Gold was a perfect way of preventing that because to do a mass amount of transactions you had to do a bunch of mapping for all that gold. I think a better system still exists, but that "friction" was perfect to prevent mass market manipulation.

They said in the Q&A before launch they wanted people playing PoE instead of playing Faustus. When you include that the game has no entrance fee or sub I'm not comfortable with the amount of market fuckery that could take place.

Had a shipping issue today. Very large shipment got ransomed. Killed pirate and poof, no loot, no gold, no shipment back, just poof. Pirate was dead and when talking to the shipping guy it still gave the option to rescue or abandon but all 3 choices were grayed out. Still are several hours later.

True, I guess my main annoyance with it was that some of the trades got pretty expensive and assuming they don't keep all the other stuff, I can't see them keeping gold drops at the level they're at (stockpiles would be super high just from going to red maps and stuff since not spending millions on town upgrades/rolling workers), which could result in having to run 8 maps to get the 7500 gold you need to trade 3 divs into chaos or buy that one div card you want to gamble on, and that would be just as shitty as having to deal with the non-faustus system of price fixers and scammers running rampant.

People were understandably complaining about glassblower baubles at the start of the league. I've got a stockpile of about 100 now.

If they gut gold drop rate, which they probably need to since it's likely eating any and all types of dropped loot, I imagine gold will follow the same trajectory. In short supply early on, and come mid league, you'll hardly notice.

I'm not saying that's necessarily a good system. I detest how much gumball currency I accumulate over the league and would definitely go above very strict if it didn't hide a bunch of other shit.

Yeah i've never had a huge problem with the gumball currency in the past but this league I went over 5k on the random crap like augs more than once. If I go hard in a league again in the future like I did in this one i'll probably have to suck it up and make my own filter because I also hate that the higher strictness remove some stuff that i'd still want to loot and leaves some stuff I don't. I don't remember if I stopped at very strict or where exactly but it also didn't hide anywhere near enough stuff in t17s, probably because the item levels, but it made it a shitshow trying to find i86 bases of the new item types because everything was showing up in the same colors and font sizes so i'd just have to read through 50 items at every loot pile even on the stricter filters.

I tried to do more filter customization this league after picking a preset or upping the strictness but never really felt like I got it right.

Had to run it less strict early on just due to having to i.d. all the crap to make dust early on and needed the scrolls and other crap. I never did get it right. I quickly moved to very strict but still wasn't right. I could have done a custom one, but I didn't.

I think someone posted here or maybe in game abou thow much scrolls were going for early on the market. Seemed stupid high but I don't know, people buying in bulk obviously. I wasn't buying but apparently someone was selling.
