+1 for the slayer version, did it last (this?) League and the overleech came in clutch. Probably not the best in terms of survivability or damage but it worked pretty well even before any huge investments.

I went with a rare shield and a hits-cant-be-evaded claw but probably very similar.

This might add some appeal to this "event": in addition to lantern mods, random allflame embers are being applied as well. Tota packs while leveling sure is fun.

Started playing but after watching PoE2 videos for two weeks it just felt so old in the animations and gameplay.

So did not feel like continuing, back to waiting...

I quit Settlers after hitting 40/40 wanting to play more but not having a reason to (so I'm not burned out) and this is more interesting than I was expecting. Some of these areas have a whole lot of lantern mods to go with fancier packs. I didn't go in with a dedicated league starter so I had to pivot a bit as the lantern mobs are way harder than normal campaign fodder but it's not bad.

Does anyone know if there is an actual divine mod possible? I'd doubt it due to the fact it would last a full hour at a time, but would be pretty crazy if it existed.

The lantern mods are per-map and last an hour, 0 chance a divine mod is possible to roll with that being the mechanics.

An hour of a map globally having % divine drop chance would dump an entire leagues worth of currency.

It's GGG. There could be a 0.000000000000000000001% chance. People still haven't figured out that those fishing items can be vendored for mirrors (or at least that's my theory and you can't convince me otherwise)

The first league of the lantern, I had a convert jewellery to divines on a t17. I juiced it up with some flames and had almost 150 drop in the map. Good times.

Yeah towards the end I was lucky and got a conversion when I was using strong boxes, the exiles would respawn everytime you could reopen and I netted like 80+ on a map, but it was only a T16.

Last week I played Necro league I actually just burned a ton of random t16 8-mods to fish for them and the divination mod, was a painful process but it did work if you had enough patience.

Someone on reddit posted, there's a divine conversion lantern mod just nerfed to 50% chance, strongest monster in the pack dropped jewelry convert.

Seems pretty broken still especially with certain scarabs.

Been playing the reboot event to test full SSF. I've played SSF to certain degrees over the years. I know the availability of items well enough to judge the reasonability of obtaining them in a pseudo SSF environment(play in trade, just don't buy anything until certain gear progression is reached). Instead of feeling fulfilled, it's just frustration and impatience.

Finally get that 6 link.
Finally get that T3 affix while spamming essences.
Finally get that T4 unique to drop.
Finally get that skill gem to transfigure.

Or the opposite, hitting those things far sooner than average and getting annoyed at "using up my luck". Got a Dendrobate(T4 unique) to drop last night in a white map, which I would say is average. 6 socketed it in ~50 jewelers, which is above average. No 5 or 6 link with 200 fusings, which is slightly below average. Logged off and played something else.

I've been trying to understand my lack of motivation when Dendrobate itself really wasn't a frustrating event. Lack of goals because I did 40/40 already? I did want to try Frostblink mines on a Pathfinder but just can't seem to be bothered.

I'll admit I've been annoyed at watching PConc fuck off and bounce away from the only target in range. How the fuck am I supposed to model that? It did not do that in testing on Kuduku.

Honestly just sounds like you're burned out. You want to test your theories but don't want to actually play the game to get there, at least not in ssf. For me I got 4 stones and did a t17 before I xferred to trade. The amount of grinding to do ubers was going to be too much.

Burnout is certainly a possibility. I'm not actually sure PoE's moment-to-moment gameplay is that good, tbh.

On the flipside, 3.25 started end of July. If I spent 2 months in league, we'd be coming up on a 2 month break soon. That seems like enough time. Am I just some basic bitch that needs arbitrary achievements to be motivated?

It's not burnout to have reached a conclusion and be finished with a game. The last thing I wanted to do in Settlers was one 50m currency shipment and one 50m shipment of bars so I was sure I had done all the things the league offered. The moment that was done I was done. Leveled a char I liked to 100, got 40/40, finished off the only uber boss I had yet to get a win over and went hard on a couple bits of old content I barely ever interacted with previously in Heist and Betrayal. They both overperformed my expecations and I'm far more familiar with each than I was before. I checked out the skills I wanted to check out.

Wanting to play more but not having anything to do just means when the new content shows up you'll be raring to go. It's these specific circumstances that are unfortunate with the PoE2 beta and huge delay for the next PoE1 league.

I've been just logging on during the week to run through a few Ziggurats just for the fragments, and then run the Eater / Exarch fights once I have enough for 4 or 5 in a row.

Pretty burned out this league and not going to make a char on the new temp league, just don't have anything else to play atm.
