I really hope this is an awesome "make the players happy" event, tuned in favor of tons of loot drops and overpowered ascendencies. It would also make for a cool race event with all the new ascendencies, see what Ben and the like would decide to run.

Seems like the FAQ they did about Phrecia alleviated a lot of concerns. There will definitely still be some jank, but it looks like they APPEAR to have figured out some of the big no-no's before launch rather than after.

I was under the impression we were getting 1 Funscendancy per class, but the Shadow currently has two. So if we're get 1:1 that's a lot of goofy shit. I can't see any of it being balanced (good), and a lot of crazy fucking builds to come out from it. Definitely means it's a trade league. Actually pretty excited for this while waiting on the POE2 wipe patch.

I finally took a look at that ascendancy and... it's basically made for KB of Clustering. You use Tornado on Spellslinger in that build.

But the CDR is wasted on that build, so it's 50% mana reservation efficiency for 20% reservation? Seems like a meh 4 pointer.

Yes. Chop chop. Everything should be blue text in pob.

I'm asking for some ideas, no pob required. Since the 2 pointer is sacred wisps, that means wand attack build. I can't think of anything a wand attack build would want to trigger besides projectile proliferation like tornado or sniper's mark. And those two are usually exclusive.

Ok, I know it sounded like the other ascendancies were overpowered, but for real, whisperer on a KB of clustering Indigon build is what I am going for as that is absolutely bonkers. like, broken doesn't even come close to describing it.

But "there is more" is enticing as well. Your mind is destroyed is bait for wand attacks but would be good for any other attack.

EDIT: Actually I just added the infinite pursuit and we know all to my current KB of Clustering character PoB and it was a significant DPS loss. I have a lot more int on that build than I remembered and you dont really wanna stack dex.

your mind is destroyed (I believe this would stack with the innate KBoC bonus of 200%, being scaled by Indigon)

don't panic yet

with a mana stacker build in mind. it should be way more damage than heirophant, at the cost of a chunk of the mana pool and defenses. AoE suffers as well, but the raw damage gain should make up for it.

Nope.

Keep in mind that almost everything in these 19 ascendancies is not new. In this example, this is an affix from Crown of Eyes. Which is known not to stack with wand mastery and wand skills.
