GGG probably going to be rolling in the dough once this is in China. When is the release date for that? Will they be separated from the other servers or should we expect the eco to be completely fucked once they come?
IDK if they have to churn out new stuff. Chinese love these grindfest games. They can make buco bucks if they put out more cosmetics, though.

Even though I've been playing off and on since beta, I'm fairly noobish when it comes to economy and flavor-of-the-month builds, as I have always played self-found, solo.
One of these just dropped for me last night...any interesting or unique builds to build around it?
I assume it's fairly rare or worth a decent amount since my loot filter highlighted the item in a way that I have never seen before for any drop, lol. Figured it might be worth holding on to and building something around it.

Not very good rolls but its still an easy 1-1.5ex item with the 5L. Voltaxic Spark is an extremely meta build right now.

Trying to get my challenge shit done up to 24, sadly I can only find 23 that are not shit to do, and the last one sounds like it'll be a pain in the dick. Maybe can manage to get an exalt and a half out of all the currency I have and buy a perandus manor map. I think it's that or grinding to 90 but I really don't want to do that. Should have kept an eye on labyrinth reddit threads to finish those stupid trinkets over time. Guess I still have time to do that, we'll see.

kill these unique monsters. super easy.
clear act 2 int. easy, but slightly annoying
unseal laby. super easy.
complete these enc 1. easy.
vendor recipes. easy.
norm act bosses. super easy.
create hideout. super easy.
clear act 2 cruel exteriors. easy... but annoying. (bring summon skels, or do in a party.)
kill rare monsters in cruel. easy.
use these currency items. easy.
complete encounters 2. moderate. rng bound. took me a while to get a tormented blasphemer, near a rare.
cruel bosses, easy.
t6 hideout. easy.
encounters 3. easy. laby. 1 or 2 runs. especially with them mapped on reddit.
kill these vaal bosses. moderate. this is farmable... but super annoying. took me like 30 dried lakes, 20 crypt, etc.
6 t5 masters. easy.
complete these quests. easy. just play the game.
Id a lost treasure. moderate. rng... pure luck I suppose.. I have 2 of them though..
lab unique. moderate. rng again.
kill argus 3. easy. again, reddit even lists if/where he is.
ascend 3. easy.
izaro 8. easy. again, check reddit to see what he has.. just run laby a few dif days.
merc bosses. easy.
map bosses. pretty easy for any level 80-90 char. its t8 tops iirc. or is the bosses up to t10, and "unid'd is t8? clear unid'd is actually harder then it sounds, because finding rares of the map you want, is pure rng.
close, but I dont have..
open perd chests. moderate rng I suspect. im 10/12 locker and wardrobe.
kill chest guardians. same deal. im 12/16. missing. junith, tantalo, darsia, and milo.
buy items from carido. 9/10. missing hte map.
Encounters 4. 4/6. need a unique for zana. pure rng, and vaal temple.
level 86 on the ranger. 90 is doable. Azirtiri as well presumably.
so, what, 7 more from those?
use these trinkets... probably doable. but ugh. don't want to do them.
so I "probably" could do 8 more. which won't get me the super cool portal effect.

The one in that list I'm not counting on is encounters 2. First need to find a blasphemer and have to get it into a rare which is annoying enough, and also need some random rogue exile which so far I haven't seen(and I've done like a dozen of maps with double exiles). I mean it's bound to happen at some point, but I could very well hit 90 before it happens too, way too RNG.
For the last one on my list I have this encounter 2 one, level 7 master(very long), level 90(shorter but requires more playing), perandus map, all perandus chests(super RNG, still missing 3 atm), perandus rares protecting chests(same as chests in RNG, missing like 5), trinkets(rng and daily reset, but very easy if they do spawn), buy unique shit from cadiro(need a few slots, but I don't want to spend too much so mostly looking for low level garbage). Most of these are super RNG or very long, I think perandus map is probably the easiest, I'll just cash out all my garbage once I'm done with the rest and run it. Or maybe find someone who runs it for me, that'd work too probably.

Oh I see there's a difference in your list and mine, I do count the kill 4 guardians. I don't count killing her because of the T15 map, although I guess it'd be cheaper to buy a T15 map than a perandus manor map so would probably do that instead.
Difference is you have the large hideout one noted as lvl 6master, but afaik it's lvl 7 you need, it's in my list for the last point possibly, but just takes way too long since I haven't been doing daillies and shit.

I can run any of you guys through Atziri or Uber very quickly for the challenges. I am usually online as Korrupt, you can keep all of the loot and drops. There is an achievement also if you've never done it for full clearing both which you can use the remaining portals to do yourself for the yard trash.

Spark builds aren't fun on HC. It's way, way too easy for you to one-shot yourself with no way of countering it. The most obvious source is the Promenade boss, but literally any source of lightning thorns will instakill you if they cast it on something that doesn't die in 2 hits.
Also, you can never kill Atziri for the same reason. The reflect split boss kills you and there's jack shit you can do about it.

Lightning thorns doesn't reflect your damage, it just deals a flat amount of damage to you whenever you hit the target. Once it gets on something, the zillion sparks you have out will guarantee you die as stopping your casts doesn't turn off all the bouncing shit in play.
I've never run Atziri but AFAIK the image with the mirror is an exception and also reflects chaos damage. I could be wrong on this though as I've never done Atziri.

The beauty of Tabula - I normally run spark+EK, but I can swap in Arc and Bladefall depending on reflect (of course, I also have to turn off auras for ele reflect),but the drop in speed is better than rerolling the maps. I also vaguely remember lightning thorns being much weaker this patch, certainly don't remember dying to it. The only reflect that pretty much instakilled me was the ice golem' reflect phase at the end of waterways, since he was off screen. As Tenks said, that is the crazy thing about voltaxic - you don't have to deal with reflect, ever.
