In the podcast with Wilson he said they really didn't want Chaos to just feel like another elemental. I feel if you start diluting Chaos' uniqueness it suddenly becomes that.
It would be interesting if they did something with it as you go up in tiers, since chaos resist is mostly a luxury stat, but some bosses rape your ass with chaos damage (hi museum trio). If all mobs did a % of chaos damage as you want up as a kind of "corruption" you could see some nice interactions. Or just mix in chaos damage mobs, so CI/Shav doesn't trivialize the endgame.
Anyway I think the game needs some UI polish:
1) Combat log. Figuring out how and why you died without some kind of Shadowplay is impossible.
2) Disconnect doesn't kick you from a party or even the map. Punishing people for mapping with full party is stupid. Also make the party UI not terrible.
3) Drop the master grind, it's not fun to do it every fucking league.
4) Limit how the people can screw each other. Let people sell their crafting bench uses for money, same for portals instead of giving them money and hope they aren't dicks.
5) Some actual graphic options would be nice - the game doesn't even have a gamma slider and digging through files to adjust details is straight out of console ports.
They should also adjust how map rolls work, right now the ideal map is like ele weakness/Enfeeble/vulnerability/totems, reflect preferably not depending on your build and you give zero fucks about the rest.
