That's what I meant to phrase it as! But I generate about 200 fusings a day playing fairly casually, so I don't buy fusings in-league hardly ever, and my linking strategy is to save up about 300 and then stop rolling at the first 5L below 150 fusings. Generally speaking this gets me to a 6L in about a week average. Buying the item already linked probably 7 out of 10 times costs you money.

The new league starts Friday December 7th @ 5pm EST. There is already a trailer for the new league, over this week and next well get much more information. Delve will end earlier that week.

I took the starter path jump and not the second ascendancy. It's a totem build with chieftain/templar and without chieftain there's no leech, resulting in me dying to Izaro twice due to not being able to dodge his attacks on the little platform in the center and the whole rest of the room being on fire, preventing me from running away.

Is the Strat to use those on white items then upgrade to rare? What’s more efficient? I have spent a little willy nilly since I started late in league and just wanted to get experience under me.

Not anymore. It used to be that using a fusing on a piece of gear would consume the quality on it, so if you wanted the best chance at a 6L you needed to roll it to 20% every time -- on a rare that's a shitload of armor scraps, so typically you 6L'd white and then rolled/chanced what you needed. They've since changed it so that quality is not consumed (but still affects link chance), so linking white/rare/unique should have the same investment now.

There's a couple of strats to use for linking. The method you quoted is what I use for expensive chest items that you won't necessarily be able to afford two of. For cheap chest items, 5L one, buy another, and try to 6L that one as the fusings come in. I honestly would not use the Vorici method unless I wanted to 6L a corrupted item. Sure, sometimes it can take 4k fusings to get a 6L, but those are the exception and extensive testing has shown that the average 6L is a few hundred fusings short of 1500.

Just to be sure, i have about 57% evasion or so, and i also went blood in the eyes that makes me blind bleeding targets. This basically makes them have 21.5% chance to hit me when they're blinded right?

Games fun, looking forward to having a better idea of what im doing for the next league

So this league (SSF) I found a Kaom's Heart and I just found my second Poet's Pen so I thought I would try my hand at a Volatile Dead/Body Swap build.

Ell o Ell it is hilarious. Since I always play SSF I will keep this build in Standard and hope the nerfs aren't too bad, because this is limitless entertainment in how it clears. Good way to end the league.

The paperdoll evasion % is an approximation based on the average accuracy of monsters at your own level. Stuff that's higher has more chance to hit, lower less, but more importantly, monsters themselves are more or less accurate depending on the type of monster they are, plus potential modifiers on rare monsters that give them increased accuracy. So you can't really rely on it entirely. That said when you blind shit it gets pretty reliable, although it's best combined with a secondary layer like dodge(which is an actual flat % chance to "avoid" attacks entirely, rather than being compared to accuracy) or block which is the same but can still stun you if the hit is strong with a block animation(which can be reduced by block recovery). Then stuff is rolled twice, further reducing the chance to be hit. And that is even further improved by having flat mitigation behind for the times you do get hit(which will happen eventually).

This is the most often repeated nonsensical statement about PoE. Inpulsa is the only example I can think of where I'd use a 5L chest rather than stick with Tabula or a corrupted 6L rare. Maybe QotF if it's a Pathfinder build that isn't going to do more than T3 Burial Chambers anyway.

It's not nonsense at all, you don't need a 6L to complete anything but the hardest of content and they're pretty hard to roll = luxury item. I haven't used a Tabula in like a year, even for leveling, I corrupt them and sell off the good ones and vendor the bad ones for a free divine.

EDIT: Depending on the chests, I'd rather have a unique 5L than a corrupted 6L (the only 6L you should rush to buy) in red tier maps.

Yeah, if I'm lucky I'll get it in the 70s or 80s, but it's usually 90+ before I get a 6L.

I’ll have to post my PoB later but I did the dom blow guardian minion build. And my gems are at 17-19. Only a 5l chest. And I’m using a decent brightbeak. If I use PoB and add up all my dps, I feel like I’m mired at 250k. I used smite but I’m leveling a Vaal Skeles to replace that.

Picking up white 6s items in maps which are fairly common and selling those for jewelers orbs to vendors. You then goto a jewelry vendor and convert the jewelry orbs to fusing orbs once you have a few hundred.

My main this league was a BV Tri-herald elementalist with an Impulsa's that I even managed to 6L. She clears like a BEAST and delve's are hilarious. I don't like her on bosses just because of the proximity requirement and that I am shit for min/maxing defenses so I have 7,100 hps and.....pretty much that's it. My boss killer is a 5 totem arc Hiero.

To expand on what Korrupt said, a lot of end game farming efficiency comes down to figuring out a build that can run almost or every map mod safely, which items are worth it to pick up so you don't waste time at the vendor, and setting up a stream of maps to run beforehand. It's not that there's a good way to specifically farm for fusings, just that you get more due to farming efficiently. It may take a league or two to get the hang of it. If you watch the high end streamers, they skip all kinds of shit because they're running maps for exp and ultra rare drops only.

Speaking of Burial Chambers, other than the obvious part of shaping Relic Chambers to get it to stop dropping is there anything else I have to do to get all/nearly all BC drops for sustain? I don't have any illusions about having the intestinal fortitude to grind out an entire set of Doctors, but I'm going to start as a Pathfinder and try to at least farm enough to pay for my real build which is way too expensive and impractical to be a starter.

I definitely would not, but I'm not talking about HC either. Like I said there's maybe two uniques I'd use as a 5L, Inpulsa and QotF (but I certainly wouldn't be farming red maps with that). Everything else, I buy a high roll chest and it sits in my stash as a 6S_L until I hit the lottery. I'm taking the 15%+ extra damage from the last support every time even if it means using a TR.
