Not only with a brain, but with heart and courage as well. Chris Wilson is probably the best CEO on the planet.

Probably CuteDog, think he's fucking DCLara.
Ah. Nowhere near the same tier as Chris Kluwe, but still an asshat.

Do people bot this game like d3?
Normal players generally don't do anything more than what you can whip up in Autohotkey. There's a decent population of accounts that get used to bot currency flipping. A ban wave tends to wipe them out about once a league lately though. There's nothing on the scale of what people do (did? haven't played it in ages) to bot paragon levels in D3. Nothing like TurboHUD either.

There is something like TurboHUD but suposedly people have been banned for using it without any cheat plugins enabled. But POEHud is out there.

Alright Kitava dead on new arc totem character. Ran a couple tier 1 maps and they seemed real easy.

What's my best starting path for this map stuff? It looks like I should run all of them at least once just to build up this atlas bonus?

Yeah you want to run 1 of every kind to get the completion bonus. Later on you may want to shape your map to force it to drop certain maps, but that's usually after you get into T10+. Basically upgrade your lower ones T5 and below to magic items, alt if necessary to get away from certain mods, like no mana/regen etc. Roll a bunch at one time so you can run them back to back quickly. Seek out Zana as a master as well and try to level her quickly as she adds a item mod bonus to your map drops. Once you get to T5 plus, some people use an alc orb on those to get better drops but not 100% necessary if you are short on alchs. Hope that helps.

So help me out with evaluating items here. This thing seems good, but the only rings I can find on poe.trade that have both crit change and melee damage also have a ton of other mods and cost a shit ton, and this one doesn't look anywhere near as good as those?

I'm not sure I'd call it a cheapo poet's pen. Just a different poet's pen. Assuming they don't nerf it, PP is for builds that use a utility trigger. Sure, you can use CoC with PP, but how often do you think frenzy is going to hit and then crit in a typical PP build?

I think you'll see Mjolnir/Cospri's Malice paired with CoC rivaling current PP power. Someone remind me, dual wielding Mjolnir or Cospri's Malice is useless because they can't both trigger at the same time like PP can?

The reason it's a cheapo PP is because you just stack global crit, get a fast attacking weapon, stack spell damage and attack speed, and go nuts. Can easily get the 65% crit chance and 10ish APS with just garbo attack abilities like barrage/power siphon/etc.

So basically rather than getting PP's and slotting them up, you just build up pure spell damage and use arc/coldsnap/lightning ball whatever connected to a faster attacks/multistrike whatever settup and blow shit up. With staffs/bows you can even roll inherent lvl 20 cast on crit shaper affix. So now you just get a bow with that in it, 20% double damage mod because it's GLOBAL damage, maybe +1 gem it, and put in whatever ability you want to use as a vector for your crits. Honestly a 2hand staff with +1 melee with elemental hit as the main ability and then a matching element proc might be good too. For instance:

Staff with cast on crit with +1 gems and 20% double damage:
Static Strike--Multistrike-- Arc-- Ele Focus -Controlled Destruction - Inc crit chance

Then you just stack +lightning damage in trees and jewels (actual jewels, not eyes) with crit multiplier and some desired attack speed stuff. Staffs can roll up to 1.5 APs so it's not too bad.
