I appreciated the free Horizon game right when i got my PS5, although the actual performance patch did not happen until later the game still played perfectly fine.
There were some PS4 games that did not have the greatest loading times and were legit sped up via an external Gen3 over USB. PS5s did much better with those back catalog games as well.

I've played the shit out of my ps5. Elden Ring probably got the most play on it. Then a smattering of other things. I've also played the shit out of my Switch. For some reason, I flipped hard to console gaming right after breaking my addiction to WoW then POE. I still play FFXIV, Last Epoch and Grim Dawn on my PC. My PC is getting woefully out of date. Last upgraded in 2018 I think.
My age is putting me down the path where I want to spend time messing with it but "I'm tired boss" comes up a lot. I've got a half finished project on my table now where I was cobbling together a computer to use to stream movies.

I have four PS5 controllers and have had issues with zero of them. Wonder wtf you guys are doing that causes issues.

I take good care of my controllers and rest assured Dualsense controllers get hit with drift issues constantly. Been through 2 of them already - not as much now because I hardly ever turn on my PS5 anymore since Sony is shitting the bed in damn near everything from Services to games now. Meanwhile have not had any effect on Xbox Controllers. I have a USB Xbox Controller for my PC for over 11 years and no issues there either.

A class action lawsuit has been filed against Sony, alleging that the PS5 DualSense controller is defective due to drift, and that Sony was aware of the problem without disclosing it. [Updated]
Drift is pretty well known, and Sony even knew about it in pre-release testing and did nothing to fix it.
