Regime Regime spronk spronk - now that it’s been a few months, what is your take on your upgrade to PS 5 Pro? And do you have HDMI 2.1 VRR setups?

i've literally only played balatro on my ps5 pro i'm kind of a dumbass

now that ive finished indiana jones i'm gonna continue with stellar blade, it does have a ps5 pro upgrade so in theory it should be better but i'll be honest, i don't notice the difference at all. Now that Final Fantasy Rebirth is coming to PC thats probably better for that series than ps5 pro.

the biggest difference is the 2TB internal storage, its nice having that extra space on top of the 2TB ssd i have in there

When it first came out people were saying that Stellar Blade's Pro mode (PSSR) was better than the Pro Max (TAA). High Frame Rate for the PSSR is what can hit 80fps plus it also eliminates the ghosting that TAA generates.

Wow, Fromsoft much? The two platinums were Sekiro and Castlevania Advance Collection. The 80 hours on the latter is a lie, it was more like 30 hours but I also left a couple of them rubber banded to get level grinding out of the way (there are spots at the beginning of two of the three games where you can hold attack and 1 HP enemies run into your whip repeatedly, allowing you to level extremely slowly while AFK).

Funny thing about Souls 3 being so high is that I didn't even get close to finishing it. Beat the main story, only got about half the trophies, and still had several DLC bosses to fight. Couldn't beat Midir in particular, but I was also really fatigued by that point. Need to replay it with a caster and get the rest of 'em.
