Heh, my favorite wave of weekend master on ADK - 4 red masks.

Lack of friends with appropriate leaders is a real pain in the ass for specialised teams, and it's gotten worse with 5.0 as my carefully hoarded collection of parvati/freyja turn into random stupid shit like Ra and Anubis. Down from 9 lokis to 2 as well, although there's a few people swapped to vamp lords so that's not a disaster yet. Blue odin seems super rare though, and the consolation prizes ( verche and vritra ) seem even rarer.

Only account where I can consistently get the right helpers is the ADK one - never run short on ADKs heh ;p

It says 'today only' on it, so I wouldn't get too excited. Gold dragons have always been rare as shit, I think there's only been like 3-4 gold dragon days since US launch.

This seems to point out how big a bastard step-child the US version is... they didn't fix the gold dragon shit after changing the days, and they didn't even bother to fix the schedule for the St. Paddy's day emerald dragon run.

That's pretty much exactly why I barely bother with mine, I login once a day to grab the almost constant free stones etc from the next millionth download event and the cool event mobs like the FF set etc. The actual normal play experience I don't touch at all

I've barely touched P&D this weekend, been playing a pvp event in Defender of Texel but will get back to the grind on Monday/Tuesday.

Same, been grinding out Monster Hunter. I must be turning in to some sort of a sadist as I get older. Two games of nothing but repeating the same tasks over and over and over for the super rare chance at a rare drop to get the +1 better for hours on end. Actually I take that back... once camped Ghoul Lord in Guk for 20 hours straight for a GB. Guess it has always been in me. Good thing I never tried meth.

My girlfriend gave me a lecture yesterday how I'm 37 and I spent all afternoon matching gems instead of going to home depot to buy some blinds to hang up in the porch. Shes like "You are under the control of that game, you've been playing for 4 hours straight."

I found this to be adorable. I immediately thought back to summer 99' and was like when I lived in a house with 5 buddies after college we held the frenzied spawn sometimes for days on end just playing in shifts. I spent the next half hour explaining this whole setup to my girlfriend. How we worked in groups and slept in shifts etc. Holding entire areas of zones in EQ just to farm. Oh look an fbss just dropped. Immediately post this on ebay. Easy $400-500. This was our "job". We did this crap for months.

Now if I spend an afternoon dicking around on a video game I feel like I have matured and am just enjoying a day off work instead of full time obsessing on hardcore gaming/raiding. My girlfriend on the other hand is completely freaked out if I play a game for more than an hour. She thinks that is way too much. It's all how you look at it.

lol fiance spent all weekend out of town wedding dress shopping, so I've been up until 4am every night eating pizza, drinking, and playing Monster Hunter, Street Fighter, and Assassin's Creed and NCCA Tournament. She sent a text at 4pm letting me know she was on her way back from Dallas so me and the cat could "clean the place up from our weekend."

JP account is at sea cave mercury now.

2 REM rolls for Horus and Ifrit, 5 on boxes, banking the rest until something important shows up.

Going to ask my japanese friend what the important things mean so I can relearn the UI (half stam, double drop types of dungeons etc) but apart from that... what else am I really reading? All the monsters are listed by number and I recognize most by face anyway...

Just a small snippet of the differences for today:

Today in Japan...

Jewel Dora Dungeon (20 stamina, 5 rounds)

1. Thanks to Mr. Max Murai able to defeat Ice Hera on the 2nd try using Horus team when the dungeon was first open, PAD JP decided to give 1 Free magic stone to all JP players each day for 3 days (total 3 free stones).

2. Taiko Collab Technical Dungeon (????? ???) returns for 2 weeks. This will be ALL Technical Dungeon for ALL 4 difficulty level:

3. Zeus Descended Dungeon (?????!) will return for 12 hours, from 20:00 3/24/2013 until 07:59 3/25/2013 PDT.

The 1.5x tech drops are nice.

Remember to just farm the first stage of the tier 1 tech dungeons for the best chance of pendragon drops.
