Most natural alphas that I know, while good natural leader types, also have character flaws of their own, one of my good friends for an example. Its those that are smart and ride the line and balance this are the successful ones. Unfortunately those are pretty rare.
This is of course not to say that only alphas can be successful leader types.

Just going with the RP definitions without getting into the "define alpha" shitfest, I'd say betas and white knights are a lot more likely to actually care about the woman as a person and her well being, rather than constantly evaluating SMV and "spinning plates" and wondering where his next strange is going to come from. So for her long term well being, she's more likely to be happy with a non-RP alpha. The whole crux of the RP theory is that RP-style alphas are more attractive to women during certain hormonal periods, and that they are completely unable to resist their urges, so if you emulate a certain set of behaviors women will be irresistibly attracted to you and you will score like a fucking madman.
But what I've seen so far is that you get rebounds, women looking to cheat, and psychologically damaged women who don't realize what they're doing. So I guess thats theory vs. reality for you.

I've always considered alpha to be a total package: exercise, smart, good education, confidence, sharp sense of humor and wit, good vocabulary and doesn't eat shit.
Certain features give you an advantage sure. I'm 5'11. I realize it must suck to be 5'7. I have little to no baldness and certainly no male pattern baldness at 35, and my hair has just a gray hair or two. I dress decently and drive a reasonable vehicle and pull down a good salary. But I'm a bit of an introvert at times with a get shit done asshole demeanor at work.

I think the RP alpha is a lot more of "acting" like you are successful in life and a "don't give a fuck" type of person, even when you deliver pizzas and you have to park your Yugo around the block so she doesn't see it.

Alpha male simply means the dominant one in any social group.
The best is when you see two of them, like at a party or something, and just watch the interaction between them and how they try to outdo each other either by wit, strength, or social status. it s like watching animal planet.

This is completely incorrect in regard to humans. Dominant sure, but you can have dominant (assertive is the better word) tendencies without being a dick and waving it around in front of everyone. True alphas don't exhibit that kind of insecure behavior.

Well that's a different stance than you were taking earlier. And I can agree with that. Also, many men can exhibit alpha tendencies in certain circles and in certain scenarios while exhibiting completely beta tendencies elsewhere. I'm sure we all know guys who are masters of their domain at work because they are confident and comfortable in that environment but are completely dominated by their wives at home.

I don't know. My best friend is majorly alpha and he and I more or less play off each other. We can be fucking obnoxious at times out.

Oh. Dominated by wives. My gf has a friend that has just whipped her husband at this point. My ex tried to break me then figured out I wouldn't and it just got fucking explosive. Not Ray rice. But I can say I had a gun pulled on me for calling her a worthless whore cunt.
We haven't even started to discuss RP women. That's a whole other aspect of this. Women evaluate quality of "captains" and shit. I'm pretty sure Ant would fail that one. I think my current gf acts like that. She tends toward support at all costs. It's refreshing after being married to a strong type A that lived for the fight I'd bring. Eventually you just want to shut her up. I will say that fights with my "alpha female" ex resulted in some of the hottest and ferocious sex ever.
