one thing i noticed about men is that their methods of achieving manhood, sometimes, results in horrendous results. taking pride in their ability to project control and leadership, they go insane if they cannot obtain respect. some erupt in rage and sorrow while others violence. This used to be a common trait within domestic violence, which is all time low. One thing that RP does teaches you is maintaining frame. Former doesn't provide any. It makes you weak, if anything. My mother talks shit about my step dad all the time because he is a bitch most of the time. He thinks he leads, he wants to lead or think he does, but does nothing to project any by example. In every facet of his life, Dumar genuinely believes that he's stumbled upon some hidden truth that eludes the average person. Between he and Merlin, which one is the better example of the Dunning-Kruger effect? Dumar is definitely more intelligent, but I think Merlin has the better grasp of how stupid he actually is, so it's hard tell.

Here is my issue. These guys are making broad proclamations about humans that do not jive with my own personal experience. They're also making a value judgement, for example: all women are sluts, being a slut is bad for women but not so for men.
The ambassadors on this thread for TRP are:
1) Himeo -- a formerly 400lb man who blames society for his weight gain; he claims he was misled by the food industry and that sugar is poison.
2) Antarius -- a non-voluntary virgin until 26; was fat, busy losing weight mid 30s who pays prostitutes or picks up women off craigs list when he isn't getting "enough strange".
3) Dumar -- won't reveal any personal stats except that he makes good money and isn't fat.
So, these three men are making broad claims about an entire gender. Things like, women are slaves to their genetics/emotions, once a slut always a slut, "the best strategy is for a 39 year old man to marry a 22 year old women", etc etc etc...
What are their credentials? Fuck that -- do any of them even sound particularly happy? Do you think its the sign of a happy man in his mid 30s to be fisting a prostitute in a Walmart parking lot? I can't fathom any of the well-adjusted, confident, proud, happy men I know acting like this. I wholly believe in a consenting adult doing whatever he/she wants with another consenting adult -- I'm just disturbed by the irony of a man occupying his time with trashy women then using that to intuitively "prove" that all women are trashy.
The thinly-veiled insults towards women... they're hiding the insulting language behind rhetoric like "its just the truth, you don't have to accept it but its the truth" // "its not their fault, its genetics" etc etc. When I think back to all the stupid shit I've done since I've been an independent adult, I cringe. I have done some fucked up things -- these things, however, gave me the experience and led to the development of who I am now. I am older now, and I don't do that shit anymore. For someone like Dumar to say ("Well, you did [x] 7 years ago so obviously you're a slave to your genetics and you'll never be able to change")... hah, what the fuck ever! That's what these guys are doing.
Mid 30s, socially inept Antarius with his high paying job finds a woman at a club/bar interested in fucking him. Do we really need to analyze what type of woman is looking for overweight mid 30s men at a bar? Because this woman fucks him, he says ("Well, all women are sluts, of course she fucked me.") When you say to them, "not all women do that shit" they deny it... which is not even a provable condition. The 90 percent of women in any social scenario that would laugh at these guys are completely ignored; its even built into the strategy. But that doesn't stop them from still saying those women are sluts too, just... not a slut for them.
To sum it up: these men grew up in weird, abnormal circumstances and have a completely skewed view of the opposite gender, but that doesn't stop them from making broad claims about the gender and saying that those of us who disagree are purposely choosing ignorance. The whole phrase "The Red Pill" implies that those who disagree are willingly blinding themselves to the One Truth. Fuck that.
Edit: We roll our eyes when radical feminists talk about rape culture and that all men are rapists; they mock people who say "not all men...". TRPers call all women hypergamous sluts and mock people who say "not all women".
