Are you married, Zzyy? Good test to see if your wife will tell you the truth: ask if you're her sexual best.
So in deadeyes' and dumar's world view women can not support themselves. They must rely on men to provide everything? They dont work?
That is funny, my wife makes 100k in a bad year and I make 80k, I am also on leave from work for at least 6 months making 0k during that time. I guess she is going to leave me tomorrow despite all the effort we have put into our lives, families, kids, etc..

She is going to leave it all for 45 minutes of good sex.

Oh and mine claims I am her sexual best since her and I have only had sex with each other.

So no evidence to support your claim, like many social trending studies? (I don't disagree but you seem to be over emphasizing this aspect in how women think regarding men)

Great article in the New York time that explains this particular trait in great detail. By itself, it's confusing. Within the greater framework of the redpill, it just makes sense. Women would rather not marry at all than marry a man who makes less than them. If a man makes less than the woman, especially if he started off earning more, happiness goes down and divorce rates skyrocket.

If you don't want to read the full article, the TL;dr is, if your wife earns more than you, you are 50% more likely to divorce. Also the rise of womens' wages is strongly inversely correlated to the marriage rate.

Women would rather share an alpha than settle for a beta.

Well the one thing you guys seem to be latching onto is that income is the sole and only driver for all women or that all women will only ever end up with a man who is more successful than them and that these desires never change over time or in certain populations. That's not what I'm saying at all.

I'm saying that when single women are surveyed about their wants or what they look for, especially in certain age brackets (this means their ideal mate, when no pictures or prospective actual men are shown to them) it's an answer a majority will give.

There is a chart on oktrends (the OKCupid blog) regarding this very thing across the entirety of that dating site (which is a huge sample size) that I can't embed for some reason. But you can see it here:

12% to 18%. There was no data present in the article about the couples other speculative evidence of women doing more household chores or men being more resentful.

Alright, Khane. You're absolutely right that it's a factor. It's just not nearly as deterministic as these RedPillcultists are making it out to be.

You were definitely saying that with the words you chose. Maybe articulate yourself better next time.

Go figure the guys who need someone to tell them how to relate to women are bad communicators.

There is a huge difference in that. Men may want someone who just has a decent job and "some" ambition. Women want a man who makes a lot more money than they themself make. Men and women gauge potential partners vastly differently in that regard.
Oh really?

You're projecting. I never said that, never implied it either. You're just used to arguing with people who are speaking in nothing but absolutes in this thread. I was speaking about statistical analyses. It should be fairly evident, based on that statement alone, which I made earlier in the thread, that I am not extrapolating that as an absolute for an entire gender regardless of other factors, but just speaking to the analysis itself.

You WERE giving the argument a bit more weight than your link supports. I'm not lumping you in with the redpillers but you came on pretty strong and then backed off.
