I still have CBS. For now at least. As long as you don't want to watch CBS heh.
Call and bitch. I used to have to go through it every couple of months when they ninja raised the price. Say you're going to go to another provider and they'll keep your price the same for the next couple months. Went through three years paying the same, including their free upgradesTime Warner Cable did that about 6 months ago(bumped everyone up to the next speed tier for free), and now just raised their rates on all the plans. I went from 25mbps to 50mbps, but now they just jacked me up an additional $10 a month. Fuckers.
Just curious since I live in the land of shit internet. Will 100Mbps make any noticeable difference vs. 50Mbps? When I last lived in civilization I had 20Mbps and I never felt like I was utilizing it much. That was before HD netflix, but on several occasions I would stream like 9 videos at once just because I could. Is there anything these days that makes 50Mbps seem too slow?Got an e-mail from Cox yesterday saying that they will be upgrading my 50Mbps connection to 100Mbps for free in the next 3 weeks. I'm pumped.
Their 10Mb service is not available here. I was going to switch to them until I found that out. 15 gigs is only available in the middle of the night also, so it's actually less unless I want to schedule things to DL at 2 AM. Wild Blue also has a faster service called Exede that has unlimited downloads between like 1 and 5 AM but that is also not available to me.Why not get Hughes Net? For the same price you can get 10Mbps and have a 30gb limit.
