Was not a part of the kickstarter. Saw TBs first view of it now. Pre-ordered it on steam 10 minutes in to the video thinking "yeeeees". Finished the video now, and the unlock can not come soon enough. Love these types of games so much.

Unlocks in 5 hours.

When is Wasteland 2 coming? This year?

Still have my copy of Shadowrun 2nd Edition, even though I haven't played it in years. I'm a sucker for anything based in Seattle, so easy buy for me. It doesn't look like the game studio is having an open to the public launch party tho, which is a bummer

The reviews make it sound like a no-brainer for $15. Glad I Kickstarted it so that I get the first DLC for free! That value.

I bought it a few hours ago for 12 something euro. Was 10% off. Deluxe package was around 24 euro.

Now, still with a 10% pre order discount, the price is 17.09 euro and 28.79 for the deluxe.

Apparently it became popular and Steam increased the price by 5ish euro in the last few hours. Must be total price as well considering there is no change in the amount of % it was discounted.

EDIT: point being, if you want to save a few bucks, and have not bought it yet. I am fairly certain they just increased the cost to get some extra revenue from the initial rush, and it will be cheaper again within a week or two.

May be another one of Steam's pricing mistakes. I preordered it back in April and paid the same price as it is now ($17.99 including the -10%).

Kinda amazed that there is no pre-load for the game though.

It's gonna suck having to download it the minute it's released.

If so, yay. I always learn of those things after they have fixed it. How does that work for the dev though? Does Steam pay out the difference lost in the pricing since it was their mistake? Because I am fairly sure they can not charge me more right?

Latest update said they will start beta in October and then see from there. They are behind schedule, primarily due to getting more than three times the amount they asked for so the game is ending up much larger than originally planned.

Waiting for a larger game sounds fine with me. Late this year or Q1 2014 then.

Downloding Shadowrun now.

Not really. Downloading at 2mb/sec and it's barely over a gig. Maybe 5 minutes at most to complete?

12-15 hours. Another DLC campaign being worked on. People working on the old SNES/Genesis remakes too. There is a brand new mod that already has several hours in it and its supposed to be 100+ hours when its done.

According to the Britt video posted earlier, there is an HD texture pack too. Not sure if that's packaged with the game or not.
