The Speck does have rubber at the corners so it's not solid plastic. However, the rubber at the corners I wouldn't exactly call "thick".No I just didn't like the way it felt, too thin maybe? my case had thick rubber on the corners which I liked, rather than the solid plastic corners that has which would absorb impact as well.
Funny I used Spigen before switching to Speck and always felt like their fit was off/goofy. That was a few years back on my S3 though.Amazon.com: Nexus 5X Case, Spigen® [Thin Fit] Exact-Fit [Black] Premium Matte Finish Hard Case for Nexus 5X (2015) - Black (SGP11756): Cell Phones Accessories
My brother has this case for his 5X. Pretty low profile, offers good protection, my brother has been a fan of Spigen cases for several phones now. I'm probably getting a similar one for my 6P.
Dark ROMs s are more of an amoled thing for battery savings and burn in. They look sweet though. Both the 5x and especially the 6p get good to amazing battery out of the box. I'm running a clean version of mostly stock right now until xposed gets working.I got one of the above cases, if I don't like I'll try something else.
A coworker put one of these slimroms:
Home
On my previous phone. The rom modified the phone such that it generally had a dark interface (which saves battery, right?) and I like the look of it better. Is that a common thing? Is there a typical way this is done (besides using the same website)?
My coworker is no longer at the company =(
Examples? There's probably a really quick/easy fix for some of them.I think I'm getting old. All the little things that are different that I don't understand and don't want to bother to fix are really bothering me. My son needs to hurry up and grow up so he can figure this crap out for me.
Depending on the plan some were doubled. I think the lower plans mostly. The higher ones gained 5gb or such. Varies by what you had. This is automatic and not linked to you bitching to the rep.anyone with ATT recently get a text telling them their data plan is doubled until 2018? i did and i'm not sure if its everyone or if because i flipped out on the lady on phone and threatened to cancel if she didn't waive a $40 "reactivation" fee
