I researched rechargable batteries, and they said 5% of batteries didn't last a month, some lasted 1 year. Sounds pretty technical but said that the rate of charge will determine the longevity of the battery. Slower the the charge the more you can pack into the given space, ie - Density. And the drop is do to charging cycles that cause a bridge between the internal + & - electrode or post or whatever it said. New technology in batteries have minimized these problems and are more stable. 2170 battery cell that Tesla is using is suppose to be the top of the line in rechargable density and longevity. Will see.Just FYI the 6P issue may not be the same and factory resets did not fix it.
