Well, KitKat being just cross-promo for the release version, they may still use KLP internally until the final build.I thought the new Android version was actually called KitKat, not KeyLimePie. That phone clearly shows KeyLimePie. Not saying it is a fake, but found that odd.
I rang Google tech support last week because I was having wakelock issues which were causing bad battery drain on my Nexus 4. They sent me a new one without any prompting on my part. Google tech support is surprisingly good.I bought the Nexus 4 when it came out. Some people might remember from FoH that I said my earpiece is static free... That changed a few months ago when I started hearing pretty loud static sound. It doesn't affect conversations over the phone but I decided to give Google a call to see what they will do while still under warranty. After exchanging a few words, the tech sent me out a new device. It was quite surprising actually.
The new one doesn't have wakelock issues, so fuck knows. I'm not complaining, though. My 11 month old phone was replaced with a brand new one, and my battery life is decent again. I'm happy.I don't see how a new phone fixes that.
