I can't figure this out for the life of me. Something recently changed with my phone/Android OS that is killing my batter life at a much faster rate than normal. I'm on a Note 3 with Sprint, and for the year that I've had the phone, I'd lose about 1% of battery life per hour that it idles with the screen off. I'm now losing 5% per hour as of this week, and I changed nothing with my phone(I haven't downloaded any new apps this week)
Before, when not using my phone at all, the biggest % usage would be "cell standby" with the android services underneath that, but Android is doign something crazy as of late.
I was down to 70% battery life after my phone being unplugged and not using it whatsoever from 8am - 1pm. at 1pm I browed reddit and a few other websites and it dropped another few % because of the screen.
I've never seen Android OS and Android services taking up that huge of a % of my battery life, I'm not sure what is going on. I used to make it to bedtime with 50% of my battery left and now I have to re-charge in the evening.
Anyone experiencing anything similar as of this week?
