I agree with 6/10 at best. Probably more like a 5/10 at the $60 price. So glad I bought this through Mexico. The season pass isn't going to fix this game. At this point best hope is for them to go back to the drawing board for Battlefront 2. On the plus side, when a first game tends to flop, it seems normally dev's try extra hard and take feedback to heart the next time around and overdo it to make sure they get it right the second time. But then again this is EA we are talking about...

Also, it's pretty sad that already when I put on normal maps + Jakku (which everyone gets for free), I can't find a single game outside of Turning Point, unless I want to wait 20+ minutes. DLC already destroying the little PC playerbase there is.

The game is on sale today on Xbone for $29.99. That would be pretty close to what I would pay for it if you have an Xbox One and don't mind playing in 720p.

Remember that the Jakku DLC is only out for people who preordered. If you turn off the DLC in the game you'll get matches quickly again. IIRC the DLC is released for everyone either tomorrow or Wednesday so you shouldn't have those problems anymore after that.

Amazing isn't it? They even managed to fuck up the biggest IP known to man kind. An IP where you could literally make a revised edition of Pong with tie fighters as the paddles and print money.

These morons are a joke of an organization, and I for one am very happy that people are starting to think with their wallets - even though the temptation can be very hard. I bought it for 19 used on a Best Buy fuck up, so EA didn't see a dime

I'm heading to a Christmas party, listening to 93x which is an awesome rock station in Minnesota. The DJ just said some singer was paid by EA to promote the game. He instagrammed to see the movie, the video game sucks! Hahahahaha. Wow. Someone find me that Instagram and post it here.

Yeah, i'm not getting the hate. I've already gotten more enjoyment out of this game than half the shit I bought over the last year. It's not deep, but it's fun and if I never touch it again I've already gotten my money's worth.

Sales are more or less slightly below EA's investor expectations. NPD US numbers are out for November, and Battlefront sold 2.1m copies including bundles, 1.75m standalone copies. They expected 13m in sales WW by March, it'll be close to that based on how these type of games tend to perform over six months and worldwide sales.

Its nowhere close to the top games though, Black Ops 3 sold close to 5m copies in US in Nov, Fallout was number two at 2.54m copies, and SWB was number 3. BLOPS will be over 10-15m worldwide probably in 2015 with another 15-20m in 2016, and SWB really wanted that number.

Also Ut's article link is misleading, the game is $40 this week only - gamestop cut the price for a week and amazon matched (best buy did not). Next week it'll jump back up to $60 everywhere.

When it won't sell at $39, I highly doubt you will not see the "sale" price become the standard price.
