This is completely wrong. Even if you replaced the entire cast with straight white characters it would still be garbage.

the funny thing about Star Wars is they have all the material they need to make whatever allegory they want about the rise of evil dictatorships. The Empire was originally inspired partly by actual Nazis after all.

Andor touched on this by showing the Empire's intelligence apparatus. They could easily make an Andor-esque series showing the Empire tightening its grip on the galaxy, have peak Vader being sent by the Empire to achieve certain objectives and document the loss of freedoms along the way.

Fuck, you could even make it a semi sequel to Obi-Wan showing Vader licking his wounds and getting humiliated by the Emperor when he goes back to him for further training so that he can hunt down Obi-Wan

George touched on that recently at a film festival. He was frustrated by the amnesia over at Disney Lucasfilm pertaining to Star Wars. Plenty of women, plenty of allegory, plenty of messaging possible to make something compelling and check all the boxes-- yet what he created is still viewed as problematic by current modern day Lucasfilm, as they try to one-up him.

HBO wasn't scrambled for a long time. You could get it for free just by hooking up the coax to the box and plugging it into your TV.

Source: We were broke and stole the shit out of cable when I was a kid and we had HBO. The utility box was in our back yard so even when they cut us off, we'd have it back on the same day.
