Most storm troopers by the time of A New Hope were no longer clones. Kamino had stopped clone production shortly after Order 66 was given in Revenge of the Sith, as Palpatine had what he wanted at that point.
They were mostly conscripted soldiers when we see them in A New Hope. Officers were all non clones by then as well. So now with this being 30+ years after A New Hope, I doubt a single clone trooper is left in the Imperial Military.

Rebels takes place immediately before A New Hope and what, 10 years after episode 3? Whatever it is, by that time the clones were old men. Not sure if that is a continuity fuck up or they just age fast. They talk about the clone wars as if it was 20 years previous or more. And all of the Stormtroopers are non-clones by this point.

So, clones were aged to like 20-30 to fight. and then A New Hope is 22 years later. so they would be 42-52 years old at that point, with normal aging.

The 501st was the last clone batallion and most of the remainder died on the first death star and the battle of Yavin after. The last they were used was Hoth.

I wouldnt assume its common knowledge. The only thing from the movies people know about storm troopers is that they have height standards, cant shoot worth dick, and are easily tricked by an old man in a speeder.

Because clones do not do anything but fight and get shot? Tactics were usually a jedi / leader type. Clones were grunts and regular ass people were Officers.
edit: GRAND STRATEGY officers, there were clone regiment commanders and all that.

Starship Troopers is not the galactic republic/empire. Also, sure there may be clones running stuff! They just are not running Darth Vader's pimp daddy Star Destroyer, or any other ship in the fleet we see. Good ground forces, not Admirals.

On a other note watching Droid tales with my kid and it's lack of respect for the prequels is pretty hilarious.
it sounds like the emporor decommissioned the clones as no longer usefull. Also sounds like the clones were pretty butt hurt that they were forced to kill their jedi friends due to chips in their heads.

Only the clones who had the chips removed are butthurt, the rest became crazy and DGAF.
